Great location with secure parking

This is a lovely small hotel on the edge of the old City, easily accessible by car with very secure parking for a small fee. The lady who runs the hotel is extremely friendly and welcoming, she is also passionate about the city and keen to direct you to the sights. The rooms are really comfy and my bathroom was pretty big. The parking is in a locked garage so very secure, make sure you pre book it as there are only s few spaces. Location wise you are a short walk to all the attractions and shops and you must have a wander through the streets, its a beautiful city. Next time we are in Dijon, we will stay here again

Adequate accommodation with a friendly and helpful receptionist.

Conveniently located for the historic centre. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

The parking was not as secure as I hoped. The lighting outside the room was poor and contributed to my tripping and falling. The place had a very rundown appearance.

Nice small hotel close to the center.

Well located near the town center. Host was very friendly. Breakfast was very good.

Bathroom was tiny, and you had to ask for a hair dryer and an iron.

Convenient and good value for money.

Clean basic hotel that is very convenient for the old city. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room had all that you needed. It was good value for money.

The bed had a sheet and a brown fluffy blanket - I really didn’t like the blanket. It was warm so removed it but I wouldn’t have like to have had to use it. Everything was clean but I haven’t saw a blanket like that for decades so it gave a very dated appearance.

Lovely stay in Dijon.

The location is perfect. It is very close to the excellent tram service and the train station is also nearby in easy reach with the tram. The hotel staff is so friendly, kind and helpful. The hotel has a very homely feel. You arrive as guests and leave as friends. I can highly recommend this facility if you want to visit and enjoy Dijon.

Best breakfast. Fresh bread, we could cook our own boiled eggs as water boiler on table. Good jam croissants and butter. Everything you could want or need. Thank you team.

The staff were exceptionally. They went over and above to help with charging our electric car. Everyone was very helpful and super efficient

Good value in an ideal location.

The property is located amongst a maze of inner-city streets but once the many "one-ways" have been navigated and the hotel is reached, the ideal location can be appreciated. A short walk away from the hotel one can experience the "old city" charm and unique history. This is an old and quaint property, well maintained and comfortable. A really good breakfast is an option for a minimal charge.

Lots of stairs to reach our room. We travelled from a very far country and were on a month road trip. Not easy to climb all those stairs with a lot of suitcases to reach our room under the roof!

The Hotel Republique is a wonderful, small well situated family run hotel. It's not a modern hotel with lots of pulls and high speed Internet but that is not what we were looking for. The Republique offers gracious hospitality, a good night's sleep, spacious rooms and really well situated for the centre of Dijon. It is the only stay we replicate each year traveling south to Cannes.

Amazing staff, friendly and helpful beyond expectations. The rooms are simple but comfortable, the breakfast is healthy, plentiful and can be enjoyed in a peaceful courtyard. Great location to explore the historic city center. I stayed here with my toddler (1,5 yo), mother and dog. Not a convient group but they thought of everything! Highly recommended!
