Enjoyable 2 night mid-week stay in June

Visiting from the UK, enjoyed a 2 night mid-week stay in June in the lovely small town (city?) of Durbuy. This family run hotel is on the main road and is part of a tourist and guitar shop and is very conveniently located for all the local facilities. It also has parking at the back, next to the river, accessed by a little lane off the main road. We stayed in a room at the back, looking out over the river through two big opening windows and a Juliette balcony - rooms at the front would be fronting the main road. Room was simply furnished but had everything which was needed including tea & coffee. Continental breakfast was included in the price and was excellent, with a great choice of products. We enjoyed our stay here.

Not a problem for us, but the hotel may no be so easy for those with mobility issues as the access to the bedrooms was by a staircase only. Also, there is a set of steps from the car park up to the back entrance but this could be avoided by using the car access lane.

Perfect Couple Retreat

Location was great. The breakfast was delicious. The room was simple but perfect for my husband and I. The owners were very nice and accommodating.

Very nice stay in Durbuy

Very nice. Our room was upstairs, with view on the river. Very quiet and a tidy room. The breakfast was great and the staff very friendly. We will come back.

It was a great location and the breakfast (though continental) was generous.

It was extremely hot in the room and the fan provided was not effective at all. We are Australian so we can handle heat, but this was next level.

Staff couldn’t do enough to help - great people, great hotel, clean and comfortable rooms in a beautiful little village

Great location in a beautiful little town, staff simply can’t do enough for you… accommodated our late arrival and happy for us to check out early! (we were visiting for the Belgian GP - roughly an hours drive away. Rooms have everything you need. The only suggestion I would have for room 8 where we stayed would be a shower screen or curtain being in place… would absolutely recommend and stay again. Thanks Hotel La Librairie!

A nice hiking stay, the wather was better than expected..

Plentiful breakfast in a nice space. A smokers terrace. Room equiped with all necessities, perhaps not enough hangers in the wardrobe... Central location, easy to go out for a dinner. Helpful and friendly owners .

A family run business run with care, respect and kindness for the visitors. Breakfast with fresh croissants, french and country bread, eggs, etc, own thermos coffee, and panty of time to sit and enjoy. Rooms very clean. Room situated at the back of the building away from the street, overlooking the river, yet in the middel of town. Very nice.

I would book La Librairie again as overall a good experience and value for money.

Great value for money, clean, great service and good location.

I requested a double bed and had two singles. Shower was handheld, not higher on the wall and no shower curtain.
