Great place for newlyweds!

Good location. Affordable. Note that this is truly a "love hotel". I would say it's for newlyweds or partners who want a lot of intimacy. The toilet and shower door in our room was transparent and there's a tub next to the bed.

I’d be happy to stay here again!

Wonderful stay! The room was spacious and beautiful, with a great shower and an excellent location. The reception staff at Hotel Sanglier were incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. Breakfast, as well as check-in and check-out, take place at Hotel Sanglier and were absolutely fantastic. The breakfast offers delicious coffee and a surprising variety of freshly squeezed vegetable juices. You’ll find everything you could possibly crave—and more! Hotel Sanglier also features a lovely wellness area, and massages are available with prior reservation. The massage was wonderful—just like our entire stay. There is also a private parking area available for €25 per night. A big thank-you to all the staff for their dedication and attentive care toward their guests. I highly recommend Hotel Saint-Amour and I would gladly come back here again.

Unfortunately, the bed in room no. 8 creaks quite loudly with every movement, and I noticed that I’m not the first guest to mention this issue. It might be worth looking into.

Expensive for solo travelers, but all the options in Durbuy are like this. You get what you pay

Everything was very good here. The staff helped me at any time and with everything. The room is a typical hotel room that has what you need. I freaked out with the LED lights in the shower head. You can shower with LED lights changing automatically!!!!. I would have loved to shower only with those lights but as long as you turned the main lights of the bathroom off, the LED also turned off :(

Durbuy is for fancy people, so as a solo traveler I could not find any place with low prices to stay at. Be aware that staying in Durbuy implies paying a good amount. Neutral comment: It is a little hard to find the place when you arrive. The map willl indicate the place is in an italian restaurant, but then they explain to you that the hotel is behind and the check in is in another place.

Don't bother wasting your time!

The location was brilliant. The restaurants within the hotel were very nice too.

- There was nobody on reception during our arrival. We had to wait over 25 minutes so then decided to take our room keys ourselves from behind the desk. - We did self check in online to improve our stay. But what's the point in this when you have to wait for somebody on reception who is nowhere to be seen? - The noise and lack of darkness in the room. - The shower door is dangerous, should be replaced. - Very, very expensive.

The swing doors to the bathroom were inconvenient and potentially dangerous. The music from the restless very loud and continued until midnight even though the restaurant was closed

The hotel is located city center and many restaurants surrounding it.

The parking was difficult to find and staff could not explain well in English (he shows opposite directions on map). The room is so hot and air conditioning is not working well.

Nice comfortable stay in Durbuy

Easy check-in and convenient parking in a nice garage. It is part of the newly renovated Hotel Sanglier, which sets a nice quality standard for Durbuy. The room was nicely sized and furnished very modern and chic. Spacious, well-appointed bathroom. The hotel is on the main square in Durbuy, which gives it some panache. Friendly, helpful staff.

The breakfast was ridiculously priced at €28 per person. I travel a lot internationally and this is on par with major hotel chains in major cities. Too high for Durbuy in my opinion. Just include the breakfast in the room price and make it reasonable instead of à la carte. We decided to skip breakfast and ate elsewhere both mornings. The room had a safe, which unfortunately was only big enough for a smartphone, keys, wallet, etc. A tablet or laptop would not fit. This was a disappointment and resulted in my carrying my laptop around for 2 days in my backpack. The also had no airco, which was surprising in an 'upscale' recently renovated hotel. With tropical heat this week we were provided with a nice tower fan, but I did not expect this and it was disappointing.

Excellent hotel for the price in a stunning town.

Hotel was central, very smart, room clean and as we expected. Room was also quiet. Bed comfy and I loved the curtains! Hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. Very happy and would stay again. Durbuy was amazing.

We booked dinner in the restaurant - food was superb - only complaint was that restaurant staff were not that interested in us. Had to keep asking them for service…salt, pepper, bread, bill - no attention to our table and we were polite! So that was a shame. If service was better we would have eaten there again.

Wonderful

Wonderful view from one of the room’s balcony. The restaurant serves wonderful food. Each room is decorated in one style and they’re all very pretty. The location is superb.

The staff could barely speak English. The restaurant takes a long time to serve the food, but it was so worth it (the food was super tasty).

Pleasant

Great location, bedroom had a mini bar and a Nespresso machine, and it was pet friendly.

Very disorganized, no one at the reception. We wanted to have an upgrade to the suite, but once we entered the room, it was very dirty. It was clear that the bathtub had been used and not cleaned and there was even an open/used shampoo bottle next to it. There was a thick layer of dust everywhere. We then went back to our original room, which was a little bit better, cleaning wise, but not enough. You could clearly see handprints on the shower and on the bathroom door. The lady that helped us at the reception was also our waitress at the downstairs restaurant and she was rude.

Locatie is zeer goed. Inchecken bij Le Sanglier. Auto wordt voor je geparkeerd. Zeer goede regendouche

Slecht te klein bed, ondermaatse kwaliteit van dekbed. Gehorige muren. Nood aan update, ziet er wat uitgeleefd uit. Ontbijt kan genuttigd worden bij Le Sanglier, 39 euro per persoon is echt veel te duur. Aanrader: leuk etablissement over de deur waar je kunt ontbijten voor 19euro all in. Echte aanrader.

Déçu pour un tel prix.

La propreté n’était pas au rdv, couche de poussière sur le lustre, plainte sale, équipement abimé, morceau de bouteille en verres retrouver sur notre terrasse (qui a d’ailleurs blessé la patte de mon chien). Nous avons eu une dame à la réception qui m’a fait clairement comprendre que « je posais beaucoup de questions ». Alors que je souhaitait simplement des renseignement sur le petit déjeuner, et le Check in de ma suite.
