Enjoyed the stay. Careful with meals’ waiting times

Outdoor area is great for kids too. As long as the weather permits it. They could also have a few more though like a basketball or small football court etc as there’s quite lot of space.

Although dinner was reserved (it’s mandatory), it was delayed for more than an hour. The number of visitors cannot be a surprise to the restaurant as the already know in advance the number and time guests will arrive. Pool hours are quite restrictive for kids. Still, during the kids’ time, adults were in the pool too. What is the point then of providing “kids’ time”? All pool beds were taken by adults and even by visitors that were not even there. There must be a better way to deal with this. Floor quite slippery when wet. I am surprit they didn’t have any serious injury.

A place worth recommending! Beautiful surroundings, Durbuy is a beautiful, atmospheric city! The breakfast is delicious and the staff there are lovely!

The only thing you should change is the children's pool hours. The hours are between 8:00-10:00 a.m. and 4:00-6:00 p.m., ideally! But… during these hours, it should only be open to families with children, because elderly women can spend hours in the jacuzzi, and small children don't have the opportunity to use it.

Nice, but can be easily become better

Location is very nice with a quick access to the city. House is clean and optimal. The Spa including swimming pool is a bit small, but OK.

The facilities of the house is not complete. There is no towel and you need to rent it. There is no toaster for the bread. Also normally some basic stuff such as dish washer tablets, salts, coffee etc. are available at rental houses. Due to experience for last years with other houses, it was a bit surprise. Shower does not have a curtain, so make it difficult to use. Also for a three bed room house, there is only one toilet. Finally, time of the swimming pool is limited for kids which is not nice :), specially 8 to 10 in the morning is not very favorable.

Basic accomodation. For accomodating 5 people, only 1 bathroom available which is downstairs and only a shower over the bath. The bath did not have any curtains or screen which meant awkward showering so as not to wet the floor which becomes very slippery. No bath mats available and we had to bring our own towels Sink was very slow to drain Basic kitchen with no toaster, only 1 small cutting knife provided Place smelled damp and there were flies about Linen was provided but beds weren't made

The environment was very nice and the weather made it look like pure holidays. Nice playground, terrace, wide living room, great kitchen supplies. We didn't have time to do a barbecue but it was tempting. Me and my friends wished we could've stayed longer!

lovely stay!

We had a lovely stay here, the staff are very friendly and till late to answer your questions. It was located in nature, not far from a town, so we could get our breakfast from the local bakery and supermarket which is a ++ except for the spiderwebs, was everything clean. We haven’t used to pool, because we were on the road all day, but from having a peak it looking really clean and relaxing! To be repeated! thank you!

Was missing a big mirror to check our outfit, a clock, the key of the upstairs bathroom and there were quite some old spiderwebs (not weird if you’re close to nature and as a past cleaner you can easily forgot them). It was a bit noisy in the evening.

Spacious, well located, friendly staff, great swimming pool and spa.

Worst thing: the mattresses are very bouncy are covered in plastic. Impossible for the body to breathe while sleeping, and therefore it gets very hot. No way to take a shower, there’s only a bathtub with no curtain. House got easily dirty from the grass picked up by shoes, and the the toilet was by entrance vestibule where all dirty shoes are stored, which made using the toilet while barefoot impractical. No water kettle available as opposed to what was advertised.

the location is stunning, beautiful countryside

We booked a house with free electric charging for 3 nights and for 4 adults. When we arrived the electric charging was no longer free…!!! Yet when my husband booked and confirmed with them that was part and parcel of the booking. The staff were completely unhelpful and we’re not prepared to discuss with us or when challenged wouldn’t explain why they didn’t notified us that their terms and conditions had changed - unimpressed to say the least. The house itself was clean and tidy but…… 1. Why no air conditioning?? 2. Why only a downstairs loo?? 3. Why no shower?? 4. Hand shower only and no shower curtain!! This house was able to sleep 7….7 people with only 1 loo and the most ridiculous bathroom we’ve ever come across. Beggars belief!! And to top it all, they tried to charge us again on departure as their records showed no payment when we arrived!!

Location is great, facilities are nice. My son of 4 loved the pool and playfield. Overall good appartment size and amenities.

Appartments have some maintenance issues. Doors that make alot of sound dragging over the floor. Part of terrace door lock fell off and crane in toilet was broken. They installed new crane. Overall appartment good. Kitchen no freezer and kitchen top alot of wear and tear. It annoying they not give some kitchen towels. Was not able to purchase them in neighborhood grocery stores.

That the swimming pool was open for children only 8-10am, 18-20pm, last year it was not the case. Huge dissapointment. Payment by consommation checks was refused because it was not paper. Paper checks are not issued since last year (2021) and Im sure the hotel knows it well, and you cant exchange the digital to paper.

Beautiful vue and relaxing stay.

Wellness was wonderful. Clean and relaxing. The restaurant and its food were very good. The people nice and hardworking. The atmosphere was really the best.

The fact that the defaults of the cottage were not fixed soon and that staff said they would com but nobody came. All doors were too long so they were hard to open.

Sauna was close, pool needs fixing and updating. Overall cottage was is okay state, although most couches where broken. De beds where clean but on the short side for me. The location was very good with car access in the region and some good walking, kajak, city, events in short distance with the car. Location it self was good value for money, images in the advert gave better impression.

Great accomodation in a stunning environment

Spacious holiday house on a small property in a stunning location within walking distance of Barvaux. Good size rooms and well equiped kitchen. Great pool with wellness facilities. Wonderful restaurant in the hotel at the same property.

We've stayed here 5 times over the past 6 years and always had a great time. This time we noticed two areas of improvement compared to previous stays: -the furniture is getting a bit tired and could do with an upgrade. Especially the sitting furniture is getting tired and uncomfortable at times. -the pool/wellenss facilities are great but get more and more crowded, resulting in noise and lack of space/chairs.

Not all houses have a good location

Next to Durbuy.

The house that we got, and the terrace, was located facing the parking. Not a nice place to make a barbecue. The location of the house should be mentioned while booking. Some sort of energie truck was parked next to the house and a electrical cable run through my terrace. I mentioned this to the personnel and they acknowledged that that was unusual but did nothing about it.
