Gorgeous beachfront apartment

The apartment was great, in a really cool old building, the apartment itself was clean and modern with all the amenities you would expect. The location is fabulous - ocean views, a few steps to the beach, and private, secure underground parking. It’s also in a fairly quiet section of Torremolinos, so it wasn’t noisy at night (a few minutes’ walk along the boardwalk were some very noisy beach bars). Would absolutely stay there again!

The mattresses were very, very firm which is not my preference, but if you like firm mattresses, it would be the perfect choice. And the loft room is open to the apartment, so you will hear any noise your companions make in the living room or kitchen.

Great location but a frustrating experience

The location is great there are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The underground parking was also nice to have. It's worth knowing the big pool was empty and blocked off during our stay. It wasn't a problem for us, because it was too cold for us to swim, but something to let others know.

We told the host ahead of time when we would be arriving, and were expecting to be greeted per the booking information. When we arrived, we could not enter the building. There was no one at the front, and the host did not answer my calls. Eventually she text letting me know in 5 minutes she would send instructions. We stood outside with our bags, and our 2 kids. Once the texts starting coming through we figured out how to gain access to the lobby. For another 20 minutes we stood around trying to figure out what was going on because the video explaining how to get to the apartment didn't come. We honestly thought it was a scam. Someone in the building tried to help us, and he too was confused. The entire process took almost 40 minutes and was so disorganized. In that time, I think I called the host 3 separate times each with no answer. The window in the dining area was broken. Despite closing the window, and putting the handle in the lock position, the window would easily slide open. The unit is on the ground floor, so this caused some safety concerns. I let the host know, and got a reply within an hour. Thankfully the apartment had roller shutters so we could leave the apartment with some peace. A few things around the apartment could use repair- the butcher block in the kitchen had mold on the bottom, the railing by the stairs was wobbly, the kitchen sink faucet was loose, and the upstairs bathroom could use some better cleaning around the window and the glass wall of the shower. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable- we woke up sore each day. There was a wet towel hanging on the kitchen sink, and a wet towel in the stand alone shower upon arrival. Zero instructions how to use the washer/dryer. There was also no information on where to put the keys when leaving. I text the host hours before check-out asking where to put the keys, and did not receive a reply until 5 minutes before latest check-out time.

Thoroughly enjoyed the excellent appartment and situation

The property was fully equipped with absolutely everything required for a self catering holiday!! Loved it!

Only thing was and through no fault of the owner the two swimming pools were being refurbished and the drilling and screeching noises started at 7.30 am!!!

Perfect getaway with friends

The apartments were very comfortable and brilliantly situated - close to the sea and restaurants. The gardens and pool were well kept. The host was extremely helpful, particularly as we had a late arrival. Our group had a fantastic few days in La Carihuela and would definitely stay in the apartment again if returning.

Although beach chairs were supplied, it would have been great if the complex had sun beds by the pool.

Great location in a beautiful beach town!

Location was perfect! The building had parking, pools and was situated right in the boardwalk of Torremelinos.

The parking spot was very small. If you have a car bigger than a sedan, it is very difficult to park. Also, make sure you get the key instructions to enter and leave the garage. The twins beds were not too comfortable. It has air conditioning but didn’t make it to the bedroom too well.

Beautiful spacious and clean appartment, in a perfect location. The appartment was secure and with 2 pools right outside the appartment it was perfect. Plenty of shops bars and restaurants nearby.

The apartment was close to beaches, restaurants, pubs & shopping. It is also close to golfing and local area attractions

The apartment is not conducive for couples travelling together but very well suited for a family with children. The master bed was 2 twin beds moved together but very uncomfortable. There was also no coffee maker other than a small 2 cup percolator type.

Exceptional

The apartment was excellent. Fabulous position for all the bars, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. It was nicely positioned between torremolinos and benalmadena, 10 min walk either way. The beach was a stones throw away, which was handy to pop back and get your own drinks, food and use your loo! It was immaculatey clean and fantastic bathroom. I can't rate this highly enough. Myriam was so helpful in letting us in early to drop our bags off and get changed and also arranged our taxi back. All in all 11 out of 10!!

Ideaal modern appartement gelegen aan de zeedijk.

De ontvangst was vriendelijk en correct. Het appartement is ruim en voldeed aan al onze wensen. Het appartement is gelegen op de benedenverdieping met zicht op de tuin, zwembad en zee. Op wandelafstand zijn er verschillende restaurants en winkels. Men kan via de tuin het complex betreden. Deze toegang geeft uit op de zeedijk waar men verscheidene restaurantjes en strandbars heeft. We kunnen dit appartement ten zeerste aanraden.

Er was geen toiletpapier aanwezig bij aankomst.
