Be mindful about there upgrade staff lovltu

It was clean

I paid nearly €60 extra to upgrade from a studio with sea view 2 single beds and I paid extra for a sofa bed which I did not get I was nearly getting into argument with the reception guy as I had prove and receipt for the upgrade I was totally ripped off the reception guy give me a complete safe which was €10 for the with be mindful the upgrade is a con as I felt coned out off €60 I did ask for the manger no reply the next day I wasn’t going to ruin my Xmas bit this place actually done me out off €60 I was told they would upgrade me to the top floor just felt robbed and coned I did get studio with two single beds but no sofa bed total rip off

Tomy was the first member of staff I met, I was a little nervous being a line traveller for the first time but as soon a

Fantastic location, so central to everything and really quiet at the same time. My room was lovely more than I expected (the actual pictures didn’t do it justice). everything you needed for self catering and cleaned regularly with change of bedding and towels, bed was really comfortable and no shortage of hot water. It was November and so there was no problems getting a sun-bed and the pool/pool area was really clean.

It’s the shame as there is a library/reading room which needs a little updating- possibly its on the agenda to do

Loved everything about it lovely and quiet ,but near everything , fantastic view from balcony, staff lovely and very helpful , beds super comfy , had lovely surprise in our room for 25th Wedding Anniversary , fantastic Deli style cafe downstairs , room lovely and clean , will definately be back.

Lovely clean studio appartment, great location in a quiet street but very near shops, bars, cafes, restaurants and beach.

Nice location and accommodation at a decent price

Location in back streets but only few minutes stroll to beach front which was full of nice restaurants and great day time beach clubs selling food and sunbeds, Accommodation simple but great staff, nice little shaded pool area and great shower room and toilet for late check out which you do have to pay for. Nice small bar/cafe for snacks and drinks on site. Very chilled atmosphere all round.

Booking.com advertised Apartment as `air con in all rooms` air con unit in living room/sofa bed location with only ceiling fan in bedroom but is if you leave air con on constantly and leave internal doors open, bedroom was reasonably cool. We realised that the accommodation was within the `Dutch Quarter` so consisted mainly of nice restaurants and beach but a bit quiet if you wanted to find some lively music at some point - Benaldmadena and Torrellominas Centre was worth a visit if you want a bit of nitelife (both nice half hour strolls on beach front)

Great spot and facilities

Great location with three supermarkets very close, as was the beach and countless numbers of restaurants and bars. Uber to/from the airport was €16 each way and less than a tenner to/from Torremolinos. Pool area was good with lots of sunny smd shady spots, the library was a nice touch too.

We had 2 adults and 2 kids in our one bedrooms apartment,, was a little tight but perfectly fine as we spent little time in the room.

It was so central to everything. Apartment was so clean regularly cleaned ,staff were so helpful and quick to deal with any queries, area around the pool was lovely . Really enjoyed our stay here

We had a great holiday .

It was close enough to everything without being in the middle of the very busy strip. it was clean and staff were very friendly.

Some of the rooms looked like they had been modernised, our room however had a very old noisy air conditioning system that kept overflowing on the balcony with us having to empty the big water bottle . also the fridge was very noisy , but if they rectified this I would stay there again .

Pleasant apartment to stay.

Anout 5 min walk to the beach and restaurant. Very close to 2 mercado. Has a farly good sized fridge and cools and freezes properly. Utensils, ppts and small kitchen appliances are provided. Friendly staff and nice cleaning staff.

Not a full view of the sea. Balcony had cracks on the wall supporting the railing. Cleaners comes every 3 days and sheets change evrry 6th day. Has a very old savety box. Room does not let you use tv with local channels, need to have apple tv or netflix. The building has 2 narrow old lifts, tends to be busy in use around 10am. Ceiling fan waggles on ned to high speed, abit worryingly unsafe. The shower space is very narrow for big sized people and floods when used too long. Bed is abit hard, not a double bed but x2 single positionsd side by side. I think the couch is a pull out bed.

Great apartment for the value close to all amenities.

The apartment was In a very good location and had all the facilities needed. The room was nice and clean and smelled very fresh. The beds were nice and comfy too. It had an iron and ironing board in the room which was perfect for when I unpacked. The hotel reception, cleaners and security guard where all super friendly and welcoming. The heating/cooling system worked great and we had a sea view from our balcony. Overall a great value apartment very close to all the amenities.

The bathroom didn't look modern like in the photos but all worked as it should. The decor for the room was standard but that didn't affect my stay what so ever.

Everything you could want for a holiday in Carihuela and excellent value for money.

Stayed here several times before Covid and always loved the laid back atmosphere and nearness to beach. Many refurbishments and upgrades have taken place since,making it even more inviting. It’s a hidden gem between more expensive properties. Carihuela too has upped its game with a variety of new restaurants, shops etc. A lovely break.
