Carihuela Palace 912 by IVI Real Estate

Juat returned from a fantastic stay. Visited La Carihuela for many years, staying in various apartments in the complex, but this one has been by far the best. Upon arrival, the apartment was clean, 6 modern. There is plenty of space for 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 children. Lots of little essentails provided such as kitchen roll, toilet roll, cleaning cloths/sponges etc which was all really helpful to have. There is plenty of storage space for clothes and shoes. We didnt use the washing machine or kitchen facilities. However, was good to know they were there should we have needed them. The apartment is in an excellent location close to the beach, restaurants and pubs/bars, also a short walk to the Marina. The pool area is nice with a large pool and then a smaller shallow children's pool. Easy to get a bed by phoning the caretaker who comes to give you one at 5euro per bed. We would definitely return in the future! The agent was very helpful and efficient providing details on how to enter the apartment and answering any questions via WhatsApp in a timely manner.

As mentioned, we had a great stay, a few things worth noting, but nothing major: - the pool the apartment overlooks is only open 2 months of the year, July and August, it would be worth advertising this somewhere as this is an area we would have used often with it being in such close proximity to the apartment. - a few things need repaired, the casing round the light switches falling off, the clothes dryer on the balcony is falling to bits and the shovel is needing replaced. - can be noisy at night/early hours with people coming and going to their apartments. - Chairs on the balcony look a little dirty.

Gotta admit that we got a little lost trying to find the apartment, we followed instructions but didn't know where to go, luckily there was a nice couple that took us to the place and we were fine after that, We did not realize that it had two entrances and one of them takes you directly to the bus station wihch was a plus because we were going frequently to Torremolinos, which was about a 20 minute walk. The premises were clean and had everything we needed, and the washer was definitely a plus. It was a quiet place, and walking to the beach was about 5 minutes.
