Not good.

The soap dispensers in the bathroom were empty. Instead of sheets to hold the blankets, we were given two sheets. There was a sewage smell in the room. The sink in the bathroom was almost clogged and was almost overflowing. The pillows weren't the best, and the beds were uncomfortable.

perfect base for exploring both Leuven and other cities.

Nice personel and great location - very close to train station. But Leuven centre is also close. An ideal base if you want to combine your stay in the beautiful, academic city of Leuven with a few trips to other Belgian cities and Paris, Rotterdam etc. This hostel is the perfect base for exploring both Leuven and other cities.

Good place to stay for a road trip!

This hostel is very close to the station and to the city itself, you can get to the center in a 10 minute walk. I was going on a road trip to theme park, and this hostel is a nice 40 minutes away from Walibi Belgium by car. Parking at 'de Bond' is very much prefered, which is a 3 minute walk. Staff was very friendly and understanding. Breakfast was fine, and checking in and out was pretty easy.

The toilet at my room number 003 was a bit unclean, but not foul I guess. Also your experience is influenced by your fellow roommates. If you're with a group, that's great; on your own, remember to bring earplugs for any snoring which might annoy you haha.

Nice, cozy hostel, but bathrooms could have been cleaner

The choices at breakfast were many - there were also several vegan options. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the staff was very nice and spoke good English.

The bathroom was quite dirty and the shower was hard to use - you need to push every 5 seconds to have more water coming out.

Next to the train station, a clean, quite place.

At my first day, one, later two homeless men stayed at the reception area (also inside). Later, I did not see them. One is locked to the corridor and the room till a half an hour before the opening of the reception (7:30 at the weekends), as one can not acces the common area. The alimentation offered to breakfast was rather of low quality, and there was no butter (only margarine). One person is in charge of the reception and serving dinner to the guests in the evening, so I (and other guests) had to wait quite some time for check-in. The number of electrical sockets(2 near the table and 1 high on the wall) is small compared to the number of persons in the room (4), today everybody recharges something.

worst night in a hostel

Good location and clean facilities

The receptionist, she fixed me in a room knowing that one of the guys was into drugs and aggressive. Then I asked her and she moved me to other room, but then the same guys of the previous room followed, including a guy I thought had a flue. She said he was not sick, but he snored so loud the whole night I couldn’t even get an hour of sleep. Finally I left after the first night, having a reservation for 2 nights

I had to stay in this hostel for 2 weeks, and I felt very comfortable during my time there.

1. The location of the hostel is ideal for those who come to Leuven by train and with heavy luggage. 2. The staff is very friendly and helpful, whatever you ask, they will try to help you in the best way they can. 3. They have 2 spacious lounges and a bar where you can spend time until 11 pm, it's good for those who are going to stay in the hostel for a long period of time and don't want to spend all that time in the room. 4. There's a big projector in one of the lounges where you can watch football matches (or anything similar) with your friends. 5. Also, breakfast is included at such a low price. The diversity of food you can eat for breakfast is good, and all of the products are good (fresh and tasty).

1. Showers in the rooms are not comfortable, the water is operated with a button for 10 seconds and after that, you have to press the button again so that water would keep flowing. 2. The cleanliness can be better in bathrooms. 3. There's no kitchen where the guests can make something for themselves. You will have to buy ready food from outside. Also, after some time, the restaurant gets closed, so, you will not be able to have drinks like tea, coffee, or even water after that time.

The actual location is amongst the best in "Leuven" Room is clean, quiet and comfortable! Standard breakfasts available at a reasonable charge!

Clean, spacious hostel just next to the train station

Clean, spacious rooms. I loved the fact that in the shared room you have one bathroom with shower, one separate toilet, and one water basin. Very good position. Nice breakfast.

Doors are super noisy even if you're careful. The fact that you need a magnetic key to keep the lights on means that if the other people leave while you're showering, they leave you in the dark.

Good hygiene. The breakfast was good. and the hostel is very close to the teain and bus stations. The staff is friendly and always ready to answer any query.

Nothing. I marveled at facility provided for the paltry sum I paid. It is indeed great value for money. I recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Leuven.

The experience was ok considering the price.

The hostel is very close to Leuven station, right next to one end of the tunnel. Although the staff at the reception sometimes leaves to manage other things and people have to wait at the reception, whoever was there was always friendly and helpful.

There seemed to be problems with room allocation as a few people were assigned to rooms that were already full. I had to move to another room at 11:00 p.m. because I was put in a "wrong" room when checking in. The rooms only had a few wall sockets and they are not by the beds. The breakfast would have been a lot better if it had some salad/vegetables. The bed lights in some of the rooms didn't seem to work and the draining in bathrooms could be better.

The staff was super helpful and nice. The location is good, with shops nearby and all that you might need for a short stay. The breakfast is great, also with options for vegan food (sweet and savoury spreads, cereals, soy milk, fruits). The facilities in the room (at least a shared 4-bedroom dorm) are good.

The shower is ok, and it works good, but it is a bit uncomfortable as you have to press a button for the water to come, and you cannot adjust the pressure of the water. For a few days is definitely ok, though, but washing long hair might be difficult.

Very good

I like the location which just few minutes walk from Leuven train station. Hop off the train simply take lift to 2nd floor cross the bridge turn left and right then you will hostel just in front of you or take lift down to -1 floor cross tunnel, kebab restaurant on your left, smatch market on your left then hostel just in front of you. Highly recommend for those solo/with heavy luggage or need grab early train.
