Great location, very central and still quiet. Just couple of meters walk from the parking, also couple of meters to center of town. Building and rooms are nice and clean.

No breakfast in hotel, you have to book breakfast in another hotel 500m away. We cancelled breakfast after the first day, and went to a cafe nearby instead. No staff and reception in hotel, you have to walk to the other hotel for everything you need.

Great location right in the heart of the old village and alley ways. Comfortable room and nice ambience.

no reception staff on-site. you kept having to walk between this hotel and there other sister hotel a few hundred metres away to get any service. they didn’t have an iron when we needed to iron some good clothes for going out. We are very seasoned travellers and know this is a standard hotel item (even if just one for entire 3 room stay) but we were scoffed at by staff and told ironing is only available if you get things paid for by dry cleaner. There was also so much hassle over 3 euros. We came directly from Switzerland and only had Swiss francs in cash and our card. They demanded the 3 euro cash. we offered to pay more on cars to them and they could pay instead but they refused and made us go find. it’s not we can’t afford it or understand the need for it, but the lack of care and flexibility again showed poor service for a good paying clean customer. it was a Sunday so no bank open. We were sent to ATM (it was out of order), came back, sent to another and finally came back with their 3 euro. great location, great hotel, poor customer care and lack of service.

Overall great. Very rustic/classical but modern.

The location, the architecture of the hotel and the room, the bed and pillows, everything was great and to our liking. Would come back again. Breakfast is not included but we went to an excellent Cafe 'The palace' right next to the hotel. Highly recommended.

There was no WLAN signal in our room, but we were mostly outdoors so it didn't matter for us anyway.

We liked everything!! Breakfast was great! When I was there last year, we had to go over to the hotel for breakfast so it was very nice to be able to have have breakfast at the B&B.

The tiny room with a television from the 1980s that didn't work, in a property where there were no other noticable guests being lodged was, in a word: sad. No reason to book this hotel again.

Posizione centrale nel centro storico a pochi passi da Piazza Motta e vicinanza a ristoranti, bar e luoghi storici e turistici. Staff molto gentile e preparato! Consigliatissimo

Tout est parfait, très sécurisé ! Chambre très propre. Et personnelle d’accueil à l’hôtel Léon D’Oro qui s’occupe de cet hôtel est super sauf le personnel du petit déjeuner

La télé un peu petite quand même, et une chose un petit plus dérangeant, c’est que la nuit il y as un bruit toute les 10 minutes mais sans savoir d’où il provient. Et c’est un peu fatiguant pour les personnes au sommeil léger. Concernant le petit déjeuné à l’hôtel Léon D’Oro, à fuir !! Or là vue qui est très jolie, le personnel est désagréable au plus haut point, le buffet n’est pas fournie et je me suis fait enguirlander car j’ai mis du pain à toaster dans l’appareil à côté or que c’est juste pour le pain de mie. Aucune précision et j’ai limite été virer pour ça. Vraiment mauvaise expérience

L’Hotel si trova nel pieno centro storico della cittadina con camere arredate in stile antico ma accoglienti. Molto cordiale e disponibile il personale.

Sicuramente da rivedere un po’ il bagno, in modo particole il box doccia.

Lo staff del Leon d'oro (dove dovrete fare il check in) è gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Abbiamo alloggiato nella junior suite e la stanza era pulita ed accogliente, in una struttura dell'800 con legno a vista e arredamento d'epoca. Consiglio di lasciare la macchina al parcheggio coperto Diania che dista solo 200 metri dalla struttura (stradina pedonale in discesa). Gli asciugamani sono correttamente posizionati in bagno e non sul letto come spesso capita (Barbieri docet). Posizione super centrale, giardino privato interno, aria condizionata ed ascensore completano una sistemazione ideale per la visita ad Orta San Giulio!

Se proprio devo trovare un difetto non c'è il box doccia ma una vasca idromassaggio. Io preferisco il box doccia ma de gustibus non disputandum est

l'hotel è particolarmente bello! la sua posizione è strategica, non solo è in pieno centro storico ma è situato a mezz'ora a piedi sia dalla stazione del treno sia dalla spiaggia libera (Bagnera). il personale è molto gentile e l'esperienza si è svolta senza intoppi. c'è un cortile interno molto bello dove rilassarsi in eventuali momenti di pausa. nota finale: il prezzo è idoneo :)

il suono si propaga attraverso le pareti, tanto che sentivamo i vicini di stanza parlare anche se non urlavano (anche se parlavano piano) e questo è stato fastidioso sia di notte che al mattino presto. però vorrei sottolineare che è stata l'unica nota negativa
