Fantastic location with an absolutely breathtaking view
Fantastic location with an absolutely breathtaking view of Lake Orta and Isola San Giulio. The room was simple but very comfortable, the staff was very kind and welcoming and the restaurant offered, besides the delicious meals, one of the most spectacular views I’ve ever seen. The old town is only a 10-minute walk from the hotel. All in all, a clear recommendation for a wonderful stay in Orta San Giulio.

A perfectly positioned hotel in beautiful Orta.
The hotel is in the most fantastic position close to the historic centre and with a restaurant terrace overlooking the lake and the island. Our room had a generous balcony with the same beautiful view. The room and en-suite were clean and the bed comfortable. The restaurant was good and the reception team were friendly and helpful.
The decor of the common parts of the hotel is tired and needs updating. The room was simple with few creature comforts. The restaurant staff while not actively unfriendly were a bit brusque. We last came to Lake Orta some 35 years ago - we have moved on but this hotel feels a bit stuck in a time warp,

An unforgettable stay that we didn’t want to end.
Classic family-run hotel. Charming and comfortable, this hotel offers true hospitality. Great breakfast on a beautiful veranda, wonderful pool, attentive and accommodating staff (finding a spot for me to store a rented mountain bike, working to help extend our stay when very busy).
My kids struggled with the keyed lock on their room, but figured it out.
