Great place to stay. Loved the quiet and as serenity of this place. Fun watching the monkeys playing in the mornings. Great breakfast and restaurant hit bed with good food directly from the farm to the table!

Lovely Staff

Lovely and super helpful staff. We booked a 2 day one night tour in Khao sok national park with them which was Brilliant! They also organised our transport to Koh Samui which was quick and easy. Very spacious room with mirrors. I loved the fresh orange juice with Breakfast.

They spotted serving dinner after 9:00, which meant after our long journey to Khao Sok we had to walk around to find dinner.

Perfect location and comfortable accommodation

The location, the surroundings and the room everything was perfect. I stayed in the King room with balcony so you can expect an afternoon visit from the monkeys that wander around. Good breakfast and helpful staff.

The receptionist was extremely supportive. We had a challenge with the taxi (nothing to do with the resort) and she helped deal with the taxi operator. Moreover, she helped find the tickets for the speed-boat. Excellent service.

The owner is amazing and very helpful. I would stay here again.

Breakfast included - was very good. We are so pleased we stayed here as there is so much to do. Hotel organised a guide (Jane) and did a very full one day hike - you would never find the trail alone. It allowed us to see there are possibilities to do challenging hikes, way tougher than the "family" hikes offered in the tour shops. I also realise I would be bored after 1 night at a floating lake cabin. The location of this hotel is a few minutes walk to the main gate of the reserve, we spent 4 full days there and could have done more - do get a guide as people try alone and give up because the tougher trails are not marked. With the same guide on another trip we chopped bamboo and made pots and cooked a Thai curry in the jungle - great experience for all levels. If we had time we would have spent 1 night (no longer) in a floating hotel and then come back to Khao Sok Green Valley Resort for more hiking and canoeing on the river near by.

There was nothing I did not like. I would stay at this hotel every time. The owner is amazing and very helpful.

Staff was very friendly to help out with anything we needed including getting places after dark,just need to ask them.

Bathrooms could use extractor because after shower it's very humid,a small window is only way to ventilate the room. Pillows where very big and hard to sleep on. Impossible to dry any clothes or shoes, need to ask the staff to wash and dry them for you.

Superb base to explore Khao Sok National Park.

Excellent location for accessing the National park. staff could not have been more helpful organising lake trips and kayaking. On site restaurant was excellent. Don’t worry about the clattering on the roof in the morning, it’s just the monkeys playing!

transport issues -We asked them if they could arrange a transfer to Ao Nang in 2 days. They assured us they would take care of it and arrange it for us. When we got back from our lake tour we asked again and if we could already pay it, they told us it wasn’t necessary and we could pay at check-out the next day. The minivan would pick us up at 10 o’clock in the morning. The next morning they asked if we wanted to take the minivan at 10 o’clock - I was kind of surprised that they asked it again since we already talked about it and they told us they would pick us up at 10 o’clock. They made some calls but the minivan from 10 o’clock was full, they could offer us a seat at the minivan at 9.30 but this bus would take a long route (4.30h - 5h instead of 2.30 h). Eventually we decided to take a taxi at 10 o’clock (2000 bath more) and they would book it for us… we checked-out at 9.45 and waited until 11.15 o’clock for the taxi (they booked) to arrive. We could have been 1 hour early and way cheaper gotten to our destination if I had booked our transfer myself, which I was planning to do until they told us they could take care of it. Kind of disappointed and a little sad that we left like this because it took away the good things they did for us is in some sort of way. - It is better to arrange your own transportation - when you do that, you will have a nice stay.

Green Valley is a great place to stay for exploring Khao Sok and we would definitely come back here

As soon as we got off the minivan, Kraisak and his staff took great care of us. They upgraded our room without charging extra because a window couldn’t close, and they were extremely helpful in booking tours to Khao Sok and the elephant sanctuary.

HOSPITALITY! The family there is amazing, a month and a half ago me and my girlfriend stayed here. i asked if they knew a storage place for us to leave our suitcases because we decided to start backpacking. She told us that we could leave our 3 large suitcases there for as long as we needed. then when we were leaving, her husband woke up and said “I would like to drive you to your bus” and drove us to the bus stop. The rooms are spacious and clean, I definitely recommend this place :)
