One of the best locations in the area. Nearby 5 mins Kaew Cave and Phanom national park both have decent hikes. Campers Lodge cabins are small and basic and the twin beds need insulation! But AC works well as long as you don't stay in during the day. Staff were all excellent but Khao Sok overall is overrun w tour operators and local guides which limit any real adventure hiking, kayaking, caving. They need to understand that not all tourists enjoy this " safe" tours.

Rooms are with basic facilities and clean. What I like most is the location. Close to nature, peaceful. Breakfast set is acceptable. The restaurant offers delicious dishes.

Nice breakfast, but one bed was soggy and the other had an ants nest under it!
