Amazing location, right in the heart of the jungle. Kong and family were super helpful and kind, helped us with booking all the activities. 100% recommend 1 night on the lake, it was super smooth and the experience was breathtaking. Enjoyed petting all the dogs and cats on the property, saw some wild monkeys passing through the shortcut to the village. They also have laundry and drying service if you need to wash anything. Highly recommend this place, just keep in mind it has basic amenities to keep the authentic feeling of being close to nature. Would definitely come back again if the chance arises!

Loved that it was away from the main busy areas, but there was a shortcut path through to the Main Street of town and the national park entrance too if you wanted to go hiking and see waterfalls. Accomodation is basic but so lovely to sleep with the windows open listening to all the wildlife at night. Hosts were so lovely also and helped arrange a day tour to Cheow Lan Lake, they can arrange other tours too. I ended up having dinner there 2 nights also and the dinner food was lovely. It’s exactly as described, perfectly rustic and exactly where you’d want to be for an authentic jungle experience.

The staff were incredibly helpful! Lots of friendly cats. Private room and from the outside the cabins looked lovely. Right next door to national park.

Everything inside the cabins were damp. You’d wake up and you felt damp and so did all of the clothes. Only had fans no AC. No filtered water had to buy. Didn’t have great security- the doors were old and didn’t fully close, locked door with a padlock. Bathroom was very very outdated and didn’t feel super clean.
