Noisy!!

Location was handy close to town . But would not visit again there is a gym opposite and the music just blares out and is very loud until 8 pm but opens as early as 4 am !!!

Breakfast was good but not a lot. Staff were great. Location, not too bad. Room was ok but in need of a revamp. Was clean. Easy to find.

Room ok. Parking is a joke, got to pay and still get parking fines!

Not bad place just for a room and not too far from wakefield centre.

Place was ok as we've been before but when we stayed this time we got a disabled room which we didn't ask for but we stuck it out as it was just a place to sleep but what topped it off is the parking. We paid for parking which is ridiculous coz it should be in with the price but we paid and then we got a parking fine through post to say we not paid. An absolute joke!

Enjoyable Clean/Warm Stay

Liked that it’s Motel Style accommodation with rooms to side of reception & parking right outside the rooms. Small £5 charge for parking but as the room price is very reasonable i found it still good value overall . The room was warm once i put the switch down for the electric heater located on the wall below it (I bet some people miss that) & then turn the heater on .. warmed up quickly. There not big rooms but there’s enough space to put yr luggage & a desk to work at . Ideal location 5 mins off the M1 - No mould in bathroom (Room11) & found it clean so that’s another bonus.

I’d have given it 10 /10 but I think maybe the rooms could do with a little mini fridge -there’s room in an empty cupboard in the desk which could be replaced by one & another socket at the side of the bed for phone charging .

Disappointing stay

Good location, easy to book and check in. Basic dining and bar available.

Both rooms I tried smelled very strongly of stale cigarette smoke. I asked to change rooms but this did not help. Former Camponile hotel very tired and dated. In desperate need of a refurbishment

Ok hotel with good basic facilities and cooked breakfast

Perfectly ok room, with effective heating, and comfortable bed. Good breakfast selection very reasonably priced, as was the room. Friendly and helpful staff.

Some of the decor in the bathroom in particular was a bit tired and stained, and the room a bit drab. Location not convenient for anyone without a car.

Close to destination

Room was freezing cold on arrival and floor felt damp due to lack or regular heating. Had to pay extra for parking. For only £15 more on the price of the room only I could have had a nicer room at premier inn that was heated regularly with a coffee machine in the room, parking included for free and breakfast included in the price and it would have only been half a mile further form destination, I should have done my research better and not focused on the location proximity as this place was not good value for money at all.

I booked an accessible room with a chair. In the shower.But was given a shower over the bath. I could not use this as I have mobility problems..The staff member was quite UNSYMPATHETIC. I was shocked.as I was a regular. I WOULD NOT go there again as it spoilt.my visit and I was quite upset by their lack of understanding.TERR

Still a great hotel to stay in after it's recent change of ownership. Great location. Easy to find from M1 junction. Some great places to eat nearby and has its own restaurant as well. Nearby parks and attractions. Would recommend.

Great value in easy reach of Wakefield city centre

It's a motel type hotel with rooms accessed from the outside. Rooms were adequate for our stay with all the necessary facilities. Across the courtyard is a reception / bar / dining area which was well run and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the value for money was excelllent.

Location is on an industrial estate - which was fine for us, but don't expect a scenic location.

Deceptive pictures

The shower was pretty powerful

The photos are deceptive, the room is basic basic, old fashioned electric heater, thinnest carpet ever imaginable, bath is sized for hobbits, pillows and duvet were really thin. Random window into a little porch area, the shutters on the window dont make you feel very safe. The exterior promises more than the interior. For the price I expected more than a box with a bed

My stay at Room 15 Had several issues, the extractor in bathroom was clogged with dust, the bathroom ledge shelf against the mirror had a giant crack all the way along. Needs to be sealed.the storage heater switch on the wall is damaged. The tv had grimy film on the outer edge.the bed side light against wall didn’t work House keeping and room refreshment was only at guest request before 9 am Received none Bar drinks were quite sparse with choice and warm.
