Great value for money and very well located.

As the breakfast was included in the price, I thought it was good value. Very busy the weekend and the poor staff found it hard to keep up.. ie getting clean cutlery and mugs back into the dining area.

The staff were very helpful.

This is a note to Management : You need to get more cutlery, mugs and plates. If your hotel is busy as it was at the weekend then it is NOT the staff's fault if customers have to wait for these to come out of the dishwasher. A lot more of these items would help enormously and if we hadn't had to wait then I would have scored you Excellent !!

I travelled by train, then last part by car. Parking was full, but not a problem...... We were a large family group...we were probably a bit loud Sat night, but no-one said anything, which was good! Breakfast was great!! Staff were very helpful & friendly!

I'm not so used to staying in hotels .....I didn't know about the key card enabling the lights - maybe just a casual "Are you familiar with the light/card system?" would have helped. But the receptionist apologised - not her fault! I couldn't have even a warm shower! I couldn't find the happy medium for hot water - so maybe Shower Instructions would help! I 'wasted' so much water trying to get the right temperature!

Just perfect

The property is in an ideal central location . The car park was only £7 for 24, hour stay. The staff are warm, welcoming and our room was wonderful. It was very spacious and immaculately clean and the bed was so comfortable with extra pillows if wanted them. The breakfast was lovely too lots of choices and nice and hot if you like your full English.

The room was freezing cold when we arrived, told reception three time apparently had to wait 20 mins for heating to kick in, the room was like an ice box even with the heating on, no towels in the room had to call reception after using a hand towel to get dry

Lovely place to stay. Staff very helpful. They took out bags in when we arrived in the morning as we were rushing to a funeral. I would recommend this hotel.

The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful Good to have a fridge and iron provided

The beds are very soft. The room was tidied but the cups are not cleaned or replaced. Such a simple thing that would help. A lot of outside noise on Saturday night. The bedside lights didn’t work on their own, so room was either full brightness or pitch black . I was offered to swap rooms because of this but I couldn’t be bothered to move all my stuff as I’d already unpacked

Great location and price.

Location and price of this hotel was five star. Staff very friendly, breakfast was in with the price bonus. Me my husband and my 16yr son stayed in a family room so much space 2 double beds very comfy. I will definitely be staying here again. Ideal place to stay if you want shops bars and restaurants just a walk away.

Parking wasn’t good. But you can park on the multi storage car park next door but have to pay. There was a dirty drain smell in the lift but didn’t bother us that much.

The double door didn't have door closure controller so it kept banging and our room was by the door. We changed our room. The window was faulty and it wasn't easy to close or open. First day the room did t get cleaned and the towels and mugs didn't get replaced.
