Central, lovely warm and clean room. Helpful staff.

Room was very spacious and bathroom also a good size. Large bed with nice clean linen. Onsite parking and helpful staff. We stayed the one night but did not stay for breakfast. Quite a large property with meeting and function rooms. Decor a little worn in the building but room was nicely decorated.

Poor!

The bathroom smelt foul of drains and it made you feel sick while using it. 2 out of the 3 of us were bitten from what looked like pet fleas. The pull out bed was rock hard with a bar in the middle which hurt my back. The lighting in the room was poor and we were unable to stand the smell in the bathroom in order to do our makeup in there with better light. There were dodgy people hanging around in the Carpark which made us feel uncomfortable

Location was perfect and having onsite parking was great. Was in delux room and having sofa etc was so nice giving us ability to relax upon arrival and drive. Staff were great and very friendly upon arrival.

Couple of small things like stains on carpet , missing light bulb let it down. Would be nice in a delux room to have bath sheet towels not those small bath towels, all offering better toiletries would be a plus and not overly expensive for the delux rooms. Would happily have paid a bit extra to have those things.

No hotel facilities at all. Room was small and in need of redecorating as is the whole 'hotel'. Room decor made it look quite depressing. Much better hotels in the area for similar price.

The bathroom was very small, but for £63 a night I feel like I don’t really have the right to complain about it. The bathroom was clean and there were toiletries provided, so all good.

Centrally based, good value hotel

The hotel was very central, it had parking and a lift.

The room was very warm because of the hot weather and it was hard to cool down, even leaving the fan on all night. The shower thermostat was not working correctly so the water was far too hot.

Bed really comfy and fantastic black out curtains. Shower pressure good, pillows of a high standard. No sound at all on a night so slept beautifully!

Homeless person clearly stays there continually coming in and out. Police turned up twice whilst I was there, room very dated. Car park not clear and came out to a flat tyre!

Convenient, large room with a great bathroom.

I stayed at this hotel last year and was very impressed and chose it again this year. It is an older building, however the rooms are modern, beautifuly decorated, and the bathrooms are all modern fixtures. I chose it for the proximity to the trainstation and the ability to walk a short distance—a couple of blocks, and be in the middle of the city. The rooms are large, stayed on 2 different nights between coach tours, so had 2 different rooms. Both rooms had a huge bed, very comfortable and a sofa. The room included a mini fridge, always appreciated when traveling. Plenty of storage and a fantastic bathroom. Staff was very pleasant at check in and out. Good value for the stay. A resturant is adjacent, however we did not use it. Getting into the city center was just a couple of blocks from the hotel and just yards from the train station.

I would never stay there again

The room was uncomfortable, no wardrobe just a hook arrangement with a shelf above, too high for me to reach comfortaby. The only drawer was a small, dificult to open, one in a desk/dressing table which was scarred on top. The shower room was very narrow (a large person would have had trouble sitting on the toilet or using the shower). The bed was lumpy, the bedding was worn, the towels were small and worn. The place felt more like a hostel than a hotel and their website is misleading. The bar and restaurant were not open on the first two days of my stay (I did not stay for the third night, I did not feel comfortable).
