Thoroughly enjoyable. We want to go back.
Lovely quiet, small, family-run country hotel above the town of Oberwesel. Food and drinks excellent and the wines are from the owner's own vineyard. They also produce their own Weinbrand (=cognac). The hotel is several kilometres from Oberwesel in the hills above the Rhine. An excellent place to stay for touring the Middle Rhine. Visitors might ensure they buy a selection of the owners wines before they leave. We did!

Ein schöner Aufenthalt
Das Hotel liegt ruhig am Stadtrand von Oberwesel – die Altstadt ist aber gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Lage ist wirklich idyllisch und eignet sich hervorragend als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in der Umgebung. Besonders gefallen hat uns die familiäre Atmosphäre, durch die wir uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Ein echtes Highlight war das Essen: frisch, lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet – allein dafür lohnt sich definitiv ein weiterer Besuch!

Ein schöner Kurzurlaub in wunderbarer Lage oberhalb des Rheins bei gutem Essen.
Sehr gutes Frühstück. Das Personal sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Die dazugehöriger Gaststätte mit schöner Sonnenterasse und bester Fernsicht war wunderbar. Das Essen sehr gut, schnell serviert und ein gutes Preisverhältnis.

Schöne Lage. Ruhig. Restaurant mit Terrasse und toller Aussicht. Freundliches Personal. Bequeme Betten.
Recht einfaches Frühstück. Ausstattung in die Jahre gekommen, wie 70er bis 80er.
