Okay for a one night stopover.

Easy to get to - it’s just off the main road. Sufficient parking space. The room was on the road side but much larger and better furnished than we expected with a large balcony. Windows had excellent soundproofing so road noise was not a problem. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed for evening meals due to staff illness. However there was a very good place just up the road within walking distance so it wasn’t a problem. Good breakfast with friendly service

The road is very busy, might be a problem in the summer if you have a room on the road side and want to leave windows open.

Convenient, comfortable one night stop

Lovely family run hotel/ guest house with pleasant beer garden. Very convenient, a few minutes from Motorway. Staff were very friendly and helpful, lovely evening meal served in beer garden, as weather was sunny, though they do have a restaurant too, generous portions and very reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet superb. Our room was very comfortable, with seating area and a balcony. We will return when we are passing through Germany in that direction. Note restaurant/ beer garden closed on Wednesday and open from 5.30pm-7.45pm otherwise. Emmelhausen is only a couple of miles away though and is a pleasant town with plenty of supermarkets and restaurants if you need anything else.

Perfect for a stop over!

Room was specious, food delicious. Nice location, there’s a forrest behind the property so that is very usefully for dog owners. Staff is very polite as well. Shower small but very hot.

Quiet comfortable stay

A lovely big room with a balcony and quiet location. Also a large garden which I think in Summer would be nicely set out for the use of guests. On arrival the host asked if we would like dinner in their restaurant. After a long drive from Austria we didn’t want to go out looking anywhere else so we accepted. What a lovely, cosy restaurant with superb food at very reasonable prices. We also decided to have breakfast too which was a nice buffet, there again at a reasonable price. Would totally recommend this small, family hotel, ideally located a few minutes off the main 61 motorway. Unfortunately, we didn’t have chance to explore the area as it was a stopover for us travelling back home from a ski holiday in Austria but I believe the area around Boppard and Koblenz is well worth exploring.

Nothing to dislike except the information folder in the room was only in German. It would be useful, if they have many english guests, for it to also be in English for guests to know about the area.

Cosy stopover location

Good stop on way back from Austria to Netherlands. Friendly staff. good sized apartment. Good shower. decent breakfast and good value dinner in the restaurant. The fish fingers particularly good!

Room exceptional. Clean and comfortable. Dinner very good. Breakfast also good. Excellent overnight stop convenient for the autobahn. Pleasant walk after driving in the woods behind the hotel.

The hotel is very close to a stop of the fabulous Hünsruckbahn. We cycled; it's a great stop under way to the Mosel valley. The restaurant offers excellent food for reasonable prices. We dined in the Biergarten, really relaxing experience.

In the early morning, we had quite some traffic noise - so better close the windows at 4 am or so. But that does not diminish the hotel's qualities.

Relaxed Biergarten with nice, German food and drinks. There is a kids playground which was perfect for us after a long drive.

The suite was spacious, neat and clean. We travelled with our pets (a dog and a cat) and everything was good, staff was really pet friendly.

the room was really big, well-furnished with a nice and clean bathroom. I am very satisfied with the service. I would highly recommend.

A wonderful place to comeback!

The hotel has a strategic location for those traveling through Germany. The room was large and comfortable. King size bed, facilities such as electric kettle, minibar, television and internet. Excellent hot shower and delicious breakfast made our stay very special. It exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back.

Breakfastbuffet was extensive and more than enough.

Rooms and breakfastarea weren't perfectly clean. Bed smelled a bit old and was not very comfortabel.
