Quick check in, easy to park near room. Good facilities at venue although only bar was used. Room on the small side but that was expected from information given in listing and was perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. The shower in bathroom was massive - very impressed. Breakfast was good, dining area was spacious with bonus of outdoor tables, perfect for the good weather being experienced.
Could have been notified sooner of a function with music going into the night (12pm). It is worth noting that venue did advise there may be functions with music held at weekends (and an option to cancel was offered) but being told only 24hrs before this was perhaps a little late and this could have been indicated in previous emails from the venue before card was charged. However from the room allocated this was not audible. Other guests were a bit noisy returning to their rooms afterwards but little the venue could do about that.

The location was easy to find.
Lovely comfortable bed and room.
Spacious grounds with ample parking spaces.
Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice.
Would definitely stay there again.
The lift was broken, it didn't bother us.
It could of been an issue for people who have mobility problems though.

In close proximity to Cookham high Street.
On this occasion, there was no hot water for showers, the breakfast had been picked over and neither coffee machine in breakfast was working
