The location as always is beautiful. The girls in the restaurant on the Sunday night were really under pressure. Many diners hadn’t received their meals after 55 minutes plus, of ordering so they were trying to deal with it and were really polite and friendly. We just felt bad for them as the restaurant wasn’t even full. Apparently the issues were in the kitchen.
Unfortunately, the breakfast wasn’t good. So much so, we didn’t stay for it on our second day. We’ve been here many times before and since it’s been owned by Best Western, the personal feel and standards have dropped which is a shame. The scrambled egg was served as big hard lumps, the mushrooms were shriveled and dry and the tomatoes just didn’t taste of anything. The radiator in our room was rusty and the tap was covered in limescale. It never used to be like this.

Very friendly and accommodating and lots of quirky features. Was lucky to have a bridal suite which was HUGE!!!
Just felt like it needed a fresh lick of paint in some parts
