Pleasant stay in a lovely location.

Wonderful location right in the centre of Esch sur Sure. Hotel allowed me to check in 15 minutes before the advertised time.

The Wi-Fi did not work in my room. The croissants at breakfast were not fresh. Hotel is a bit dated.

Great overnight stop.

My wife and I were travelling through Luxembourg on our motorbike. Warmly welcomed on our arrival and we were offered free secure parking for the motorbike which was great. Lovely evening meal in the restaurant followed by a few craft beers in the bar. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

The village is amazing and we were so impressed with Luxembourg! Overall we had an amazing time!

The village is absolutely stunning and everyone in it is super nice!! There are some local coffee shops, chateaus and restaurants (a bit overpriced) but nonetheless amazing! We did not rent a car and where quite impressed that public transportation is free! So you can travel everywhere and get to the village from the airport by public transports!

The staff at the hotel is not very welcoming and extremely reserved, which is ok, but when compared to the rest of the village they definitely stand out for not being as pleasant. The facilities at the hotel need an upgrade for sure. Breakfast did not feel fresh at all and lacks variety of food. However, for the price it is not bad.

Picturesque.

An old fashioned hotel in an impossibly pretty village with good sized rooms and a decent restaurant. It is excellently positioned for great, well signposted walks or drives. Street parking was free and eaily available. It might be a bit more difficult in the summer but there is more not far away.

The WiFi only reached to my room doorway. I was at the end of a corridor.

Room spacious, clean. Bit tired but great for us. Breakfast basic but ok. Restaurant was ok. Garage for motorcycle great and on site. Perfect quiet location with good beer.

A pleasant overnight stay

The location was pretty and close by were cafes with basic menus of the area such as schnitzel. Also, good cakes are in one of them to enjoy with your coffee. Everything was in order if a little dated in appearance.

The small bathroom had a very large sink that took up a lot of room.

The room was ok and clean. But we found the hotel as such not a welcoming and nice place, it is frigid and bare. Staff was at the unfriendly end. Reviews of the restaurant were that poor, that we had to decide to go elsewhere.

Decent hotel in great location

Good Location: close to the bus stop and everything else as it's a tiny town. The room was of a decent size equipped with the TV that offered channels in multiple languages although only News stations in the English language. The interiors are a bit dated but kept very clean.

Every time after coming back to the room in the evening there was an unpleasant smell of the toilet: probably an old plumbing system or something. The selection for the breakfast was OK but disappointingly no veggies.

Breakfast has room for improvement, not a lot of pastries for everyone, in my case there was 4 croissants at 8am and no replenishment of pastries only bread, no fresh veggies as showed on picture Bedrooms have no sound isolation, you can hear your neighbors walking in the hallway late at night, everytime they decide to go out, etc

What a beautiful place! Hotel was great too, lovely chatting to a waitress there whose origins were close to mine. Stunning scenery, beautiful village.

Like all of Europe, no tea/coffee in the bedrooms, no bottle of water. Taught us to buy a travel kettle and other bits! Didn't need a hairdryer so didn't check for that. Take your own, and a suitable plug!! Another of our mistakes!

The location was good

There was zero atmosphere, the decor was circa 1950’s. No facilities or charm in the bedroom at all, Bathrooms need a complete overhaul. We couldn’t wait to leave in the morning, worst hotel I have ever stayed at in term of style, ambiance and basic facilities.

Nice location, with the warm evening we were able to have our evening meal on the terrace. Adequate dinner menu and nice breakfast. They have a garage suitable for parking our motorcycles.

Would have been nice to have bottled water in the room. I can also imagine parking next to the hotel could be difficult but there is a car park just 100m away. We were fortunate in they have a nice garage to put motorcycles in.

Superb

Our second visit to this lovely hotel, very happy to return. Located in beautiful Esch sur Sure, a real hidden gem. Hotel is very traditional and well placed for exploring the region or if you're just passing through. Food and drink good quality. Safe garage parking for our motorcycle, no extra charge. We would happily recommend this hotel.

Esch sur sure is not what it was, still a pretty valley but village empty and scruffy.

Bathroom was horrible, cracked tiles everywhere massive sink which dominated space, not a proper door to bathroom which didn't even close and had no lock. I asked to change but the lady was grumpy with me and said all the rooms were the same apart from 4 which had been renovated and they were occupied, so she must realise they need doing!! All other staff very pleasant.
