Peaceful, dog friendly stay with authentic local character.

Charming and authentic property in a peaceful, natural setting. Dog friendly. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff. Good quality regional food. Well suited for a relaxing stay with a strong local character.

A small table and chair in the room would be useful. A proper wardrobe would improve comfort, especially for longer stays.

Very pleasant - staff efficient, friendly and helpful

Breakfast was fine (had to fight the flies). VERY friendly Portuguese waitress got on very well with my partner.

It was very hot - not possible to open the windows wide. Rooms are a little spartan: We didn't research your centre as we should have - should have know about the animals, gardening project etc.

Hotel with all the rural charms

The hotel is fine. As there are also accommodations w shared bathrooms it gives less of a hotel vibe, albeit more casual. But the room was clean, bedding was clean and the bathrooms was also very clean. I enjoyed a hike around the area; which was such a treat after breakfast.

Comfortable and clean rooms located in a quiet area with acces to public transportation.

The beds were very comfortable and the room looked very neat in general. The bathroom also looked excellent. The windows could easily be opened to let in fresh air. And the location itself is at a peaceful, quiet place. There is a busstop right around the corner.

I had trouble finding the reception. I didn’t know where I had to check in, because the adress led me straight to the accommodation building.

Peaceful surroundings and rural atmosphere. It was like staying at a Luxembourgish farmhouse. Breakfast is superb. Perfect for family.

The apartment is located in the center of a small village. You can get here by car or by bus. This is a small farm with several rooms, a stable, and a restaurant. There are also some other activities. The room had everything we need. We were satisfied with the cleanliness and comfort. The windows of our room faced the main street, but there was little traffic and the whole village was very quiet.

This wasn't a minus of the accommodation, but Munshausen is a very small village. We didn't find any grocery stores there. Of course, you can visit the restaurant on the farm. However, the closest supermarket is in a nearby town, about a 10-minute drive away.

A utility style complex

This was an unusual stay and I’m finding it difficult to explain. The complex seemed to me to be accommodation for people who were in the area for activities other than tourism. I would imagine maybe school groups for example. The rooms were fine however very bare with no soft touches that normally are offered with hotel or B n B accommodation. I felt that they were merely a shell. Having said that the beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. Linen was fine and the bathroom serviceable. To sum up, we found it to be quite sterile. I certainly would not advise not to stay here but mean rather to give future travellers a clear understanding of the type of complex it is.

The fact that it had no character or ambience. The picture of the exterior garden area and white building is misleading as it does not really show the accommodation area.

A great stay in the countryside

A perfect slice of countryside in Luxembourg! There is a beautiful walk of about 45 minutes between here and the town of Clervaux, I definitely recommend taking that walk or bike! The Robbesscheier is very tranquil for the evening stay. The staff were friendly and more than willing to speak French with me so I could get some good practice. If you need to fill up a water bottle, you can do so at the café and restaurant for free!

There is no tissue besides the toilet paper. If you have a dust allergy like me, bring your allergy medicine and some tissues of your own, or else you may have to use the toilet paper.

Very good

The accommodation is at a rural museum in a small north Luxembourg village. It's a lovely, tranquil setting. Breakfast and dinner were in the restaurant of the museum. It looks like an old farmhouse and has lots of character. The actual accommodation is in a separate building perhaps 200m from the restaurant. The room was tastefully furnished in pine. A super walk-in shower. The staff were friendly. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was also good.

The booking.com description said the room had a coffee machine. It did not. Nor a kettle.

The situation, the staff and the food in their restaurant were very good. The rooms were comfortable, clean and modern. Plenty of hot water.

Would have liked some basic facilties in the room such as a glass, complementary bottle of water and even some tea/coffee facilities available.

Breakfast was very good, I did have difficulty finding the property as no obvious signing as it was signed as Travellers Information.

As mentioned signage and difficulty accessing room to unload/ load car with suitcases etc due to other activities on site.

Good value for money!

The room is situated in a modern, very clean building, with an equally spotless, large, shared kitchen. I had excellent breakfast on the heated terrace. Extremely friendly staff. From the accommodation, superb rural walks and mountainbike tours can be made. Absolutely recommendable!

Some minor points : Very noisy air extractor in bathroom Lights are much too bright No cupboard, chair and table
