An decent value stopover for ql1 night

Easy stopover for us from our roadtrip back home to UK from Austria, just off the motorway. Hotel is basic, rooms are a little dated but bed was comfy, shower was hot and there is a kettle, paper cups and a couple of coffee sachets. Short walk to bus/tram stop to take you into the centre of Luxembourg (all public transport is free to use). Good value for money.

They wont let anyone check in early. We arrived about 2 and were told 3.30 no earlier, some other people were waiting in reception til 3.30. We had a vehicle so left our bags in there and went into Lux. There was no cut off time later for checkin. Noise travels easily from neighbouring rooms and rooms above, you can hear someone cough. It was good value for money for us a we literally just needed a place to sleep, but there is nothing else around the hotel so maybe not ideal for all, but you can walk to the airport or bus/tram stops in a few minutes.

Good hotel for short stay for business puposes.

Close to airport, big parking, shuttle bus offered. Room was large enough, clean and bathroom good size. Good double glazing so no sound from aircraft. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Free public transport bus just outside the hotel that goes into town.

Air con very temperamental and fresh air vent too strong with very cold air flow, which you cannot close so ended up blocking it with paper and plastic bag!!!. Mattress was very used and not comfortable.

It was ok

It was very convenient with the location so close to the airport.

The only issue was not being able to check in earlier. I arrived an hour early and couldn't check in after traveling, and about three other groups were loitering in the lobby, awaiting check-in at 3:30. Luckily, I had a rental, so we just went to town to eat. The other issue is that the wording and pictures on Booking were misleading, as the rooms were decent, not luxury (as advertised), and I had to book a double room for my wife and two kids. Everywhere in the world, a double room is typically a single room with two queen beds, which is sufficient to accommodate my family. However, after checking in, it turned out to be two separate rooms, and not many people like to have their family separated in a different country. The other issue was that there were no shower doors on the shower, which made it unsafe due to slippage, and kids always made a mess with water when bathing.

Overall the rooms were good but they shouldn’t advertise it as air conditioned

The location was great and the staff was great as well. We needed some extra towels in between and the staff provided them instantly.

The rooms were supposed to be air conditioned and according to the staff the air conditioner was working at full capacity but it was not able to handle the heat we were facing. But in my opinion the purpose of air conditioning is to ensure a cool temperature when it is hot outside (you don’t need air con when it’s cold…)

I would not recommend this hotel at all.

The breakfast wasn’t really great — there wasn’t much variety, the eggs were cold, and the cheese and coffee were pretty bad.

The air conditioner in our room wasn’t working properly, and it was extremely hot — we really couldn’t sleep because of the heat. When we reported it, nothing was done to fix it. It was not a clean hotel. The bathroom was full of mold

Location was great to easily park, we could easily get tram or bus to city center, or drive to one of the famous hikes in Mullerthal or to Schengen. Staff was really nice and helpful.

good value for money, given this is a hotel in Luxembourg city (airport). The staff were also friendly for a fast and effective check-in. It's the second time I've stayed, so repeat custom.

The walls seem quite thin, so you can hear through from the rooms next door (for example the TV, or the fact that people are chatting). I also noted that in my specific room only 1 TV channel actually worked.
