The location was very good, and the room was generally clean.

Unfortunately, our overall experience was not a good one. As soon as we turned on the air conditioning, the room filled with a very strong smell of dampness. As we were travelling with two young children, aged 1 and 3, this was a serious concern for us. We had to sleep without the air conditioning on the second night, which was extremely difficult because of the heat. The Booking.com listing stated that daily housekeeping was provided, but this did not happen at all during our stay. We had to contact them by phone ourselves just to ask for rubbish bags. Before our arrival, we also contacted them by phone to add an extra night to our stay and asked whether it would be possible to provide a cot for our baby. We were assured that this would of course be possible, but the cot was never brought to our room. The listing also states that the room is soundproofed and that there are specific quiet hours. Unfortunately, we did not experience this in practice, as there was quite a lot of noise and the stated quiet hours were not respected. Although we had originally planned to stay for an additional night, we ultimately decided to leave earlier. The main reason was that, with two small children, we did not feel comfortable having them sleep in a room where using the air conditioning caused such a strong smell of dampness. Finally, we would also like to mention the way we were treated when we left. The lady who handled our payment and the cleaning of the rooms, who we were told was the owner's mother, showed no understanding when we explained that we were leaving early because of the issues mentioned above. We thanked her when we left, but she did not even acknowledge us or respond. We found this particularly rude and it left us with an even more negative impression. Overall, we feel that there were several differences between what was advertised on Booking.com and what we actually experienced.
