Beautiful place to stay

Everything was great. Mrs. Stathoula is the most welcoming and accommodating host there is.. the place is super cozy and warm. It felt like home. Highly recommend

That we couldn't stay more. And that during the week almost everything in and around the village is closed. During the winter it is only a weekend destination

Our stay was really a highlight of our whole trip. The hotel was so cozy and friendly. The room was spacious and very well appointed. We loved the breakfast and the host was so friendly! I hope we get to return some day.

Friendly and welcoming

The manager, Ms. Stathoula, was very friendly and welcoming, great location close to tavernas with lots of parking area.

The breakfast isnt the richest, but everything prepared was fresh and homemade.

The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good and the host is very friendly, kind and welcoming. Location was great — close to restaurants, and there’s free street parking available. Overall, a really nice place to stay!

A clean comfortable room in a large house, with an authentic vibe and good people.

Very welcoming, homey vibe with Doxa and her mum making us feel so comfortable. Generous breakfast and able to take what ever extra food we needed for our hike through Vikas Gorge that day

A very comfortable and pleasant hotel

The hotel is the first building in town - easily located. Relatively easy to park near the hotel. It's also relatively quiet. Our room was spacious and very nicely decorated, with many windows and a small balcony (which faced the next building). The bathroom and shower were very nice. The proprietor, Stathula, is like a caring grandmother and treats all her guests as her grandchildren! Always smiling, always pleasant! She brought us whatever we requested and helped us with everything she could. Very warm and accommodating!! She did everything to make us feel at home. Breakfast was great!! A nice selection of food, homemade pies, omelettes, cakes and jams!! We highly recommend this property and would gladly come back on our next visit!

The bed was too soft and uncomfortable for us. Although the proprietor's English is minimal, we were still able to have a basic conversation with her and explain what we wanted and needed.

A wonderful place in a cozy atmosphere

The welcome was exceptional! The kind lady left an excellent impression. The view from the room's terrace was incredibly beautiful, the house is built in the traditional style of the region and we were delighted by the diverse and impressive interior of the house. The hosts took care of our pleasant and peaceful evening. The breakfast was varied and rich! We are very pleased with their hospitality! Thank you for your hospitality

Amazing place and staff. Delicious breakfast.

The stay at Konstantinou & Elenis was perfect. The room we chose was clean and the service impeccable. The reception staff were very kind and helpful, even waiting for us after the check-out time had passed. Breakfast was exceptional—delicious and featuring homemade Greek food. Highly recommended.

Cute little B&B in small town Monodendri

Host was very welcoming. Placed both our rooms side by side. Very clean. No a/c though just fans in the room. But it was cool on the evening so left windows open. Breakfast was delicious! Would definitely come back again.

Great hotel in a great spot for hikers.

Eleni was the sweetest thing ever. She went out of her way to make a delicious breakfast and sandwiches for our hike. The rooms were adorable. Beautiful view. Close to trailhead.

Wonderful host and charming hotel

Location is wonderful, and Monodendri is the start point of the Vikos Gorge hike to Vikos. The host was an incredible woman who was friendly, welcoming, and cooked an amazing homemade breakfast. The house is charming and has personality and is walking distance to cafe's and restaurants. Highly recommend and would def. stay again

First guesthouse of the village

First guesthouse in the village. Large rooms, ours had a nice balcony/terrace. Water pressure and temperature of shower was very good. Breakfast has a nice spread, some staples some local dishes, small breakfast room though.

Hardly any sound proofing. Dark room during the day. Due to poor window coverings light room during the night. Tiny bathroom, shower enclosure also very small and leaks water all over the floor. The bed has a dip in the middle.

Homely and welcoming home from home

Great communication for arrival time/check in time. Bedroom was a great size with comfy bed. Smaller than some shower room but perfectly serviceable. Breakfast buffet was great with a lovely sitting area to eat it outside on the patio. Hosts were really friendly and helped us by providing a picnic for our Vikos Gorge walk.

Great traditional house - lovely owner

Let me start by saying that the owner takes the hospitality on a different level. She is very sweet, kind and forthcoming. The breakfast was very nice. The building is very traditional with a lot of nice touches that make it very cozy and warm.

We booked the suite room with 2 bedrooms ( loft bedroom) but the 2 rooms were not private from each other. We could hear each other as well as there was only one bathroom in the lower bedroom so we had to walk in the bedroom in order to go to the bathroom. In that sense is not really suitable for 2 adult couples. Next time we will book separate rooms. Additionally the bathroom was very small.

Superb

The room was really large so we enjoyed the generous space! However, above all - the host was great. We needed to leave before breakfast time and they prepared us the breakfast in the evening to eat it early in our room, which was really nice. We also left some of our stuff in the hotel before hiking the Zagori mountains and picked it up four days later. We are very grateful for keeping it for us as our backpacks were considerably lighter thanks to that :)) So thank you very much for everything, it was a perfect stay!

Lovely family run hotel near Vikos Gorge.

Perfect location to do a variety of hikes in the area. This family run hotel has spacious rooms with balconies and a buffet style breakfast. The hotel was happy to arrange pickup at the end of the hike of Vikos gorge.

Exceptional

Friendly. The staff did more then expected. There is a fire place and the kids loved it ( extra pay 8 Euro for the woods). Breakfast was good. Home made cakes and jam. We were 5 person so the room that we got had a Gallery floor , it was great for the kids

Excellent aside from smoke

Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Excellent location. Beautiful place. Comfortable beds. Very welcoming.

Smoke in our room. I believe the lobby fireplace shares a chimney with our room. There was a language barrier on our 1st night, so we could not ask for help. On our second night, there was an English speaking daughter who helped us. But it remained smokey.

We were there at the end of September, the weather was quite unpleasant - rain and cold. That's why I didn't give a "10", (Yes, I know the host couldn't due to the weather). Breakfast was excellent, like the dinner in the nearby Tavern "Vikos Gorge". We did a nice trek to the Vikos Gorge.

Very pleasant stay and wonderful hosts

Big pleasant rooms, the sweetest hosts ever! They were so generous and helpful and went out of their way to make us and our 2 yo comfortable. Thanks so much to Doxa and her mother, and Angela for all your help. All in all great stay and value for money.

The rooms aren't really noise insulated, so if our neighbors decided to be noisy we heard them... But most of the time it wasn't a problem.

I felt like I was in a fairy tale.

This is a very special place! A magical place! We spent 3 weeks in Greece this summer and during our trip decided to make a stop near Vikos. Unfortunately we had only 1 day here... And this was mistake. Plan at least 2, better - 3 days stay here. I felt like my heart and soul became open like a very few times in my life. We've got a great time with my wife - a bottle of good wine at the balcony with fantastic view, having a long night conversation like the times when we were students... We got a free upgrade - a bigger room, and we didn't even ask for that... I've broke a glass of water by accident but we were not charged. The hostess was very kind and polite. We would like to get back here again, this time for a longer stay.
