Excellent personal service, great recommendations, and a peaceful atmosphere made it memorable.

A unique hotel with a personal touch, Despina is exceptionally pleasant and professional, maintaining the entire hotel by herself to an excellent standard. She has extensive and precise knowledge about everything to do in the area, and her recommendations were excellent. The place was clean, organized, and peaceful, and the breakfast was perfectly satisfactory. It’s important to note that parking is available at the entrance to the village, which is the case in some other villages as well. There is also a tasty restaurant nearby.

For us everything was great, wishing you the same experience.

Beautiful guest house in a quaint village with a wonderful hostess!

Elsa was a wonderful, friendly and helpful host. She answered all the questions I had before and during our stay. She provided an amazing breakfast each morning, including homemade apple cake, in the charming courtyard. Everything was delicious! Our room was clean, roomy, and had modern amenities. AC worked well and beds were pretty comfortable. I loved having breakfast with the sweet neighborhood dog and cats that would come visit each day. And a bonus was getting to pet her sweet dog, Lulu! Her house is really cute inside and out, and the town is very quaint and beautiful. I'd definitely stay here again.

Superb

The host Elsa speaks fluent English and was very welcoming. She offered a lot of infomation about the area and had a detailed hiking map for sale. Breakfast included excellent freshly prepared greek pancakes and pies. Very good authentic restaurant next door.

Great place for long stay if you can carry your 20kg bag for 400 meter up hill.

Beautiful room, great shower including the soap that had excellent smell. The owner was nice and offered assistance as she could. The place looks really good... Amazingly good. And the view is stunning.

Guest House is not on the road and is about 400 meters from the parking with an old stone road which is going UP. We had to leave our suitcases in the car. Not suited for one nighters like us or for disabled persons. A heads up would have been nice Breakfast was not good. Poor selection. Not what I expected.

We had a pleasant stay at Gaia Guesthouse. The owner is friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious. The guesthouse is located in a small and beautiful village. There is one very good restaurant in the village (Lithos).

Perfect stay!

The best, mainly homemade breakfast, comfortable cozy rooms and a welcoming and lovely host! The whole accommodation is super clean and has a beautiful small yard, where you can have your breakfast if you like. We would definitely stay at this place again!

The best place to stay for a journey into amazing Zagoria.

Three main things make this the perfect place to stay for a vacation in Zagoria. 1. The location - it's excellently central to all the main places you'll want to see, whether that's the picturesque mountain villages or the awesome Vikos gorge 2. The timeless village - it's one of those rare jewels of a place where no cars drive because there are no internal roads, but with Gaia's 5 star modern amenities. 3. The hospitality - Elsa is the epitome of the gracious Greek hostess - friendly, generous, and subtly considerate

Very comfortable accommodation in a beautifully reconstructed 19th century house, in one of the best preserved villages in Zagorochoria. The breakfast was excellent, we especially loved the home-made local pies. Overall, we have loved our stay, and highly recommend the guesthouse!

Best stay in our vacation

We came late in the evening and Elsa was so kind and helping! She took care of our every need including going to a nearby restaurant to make sure they can serve us and she set up a table for us in the hotel for the takeaway. The room was sparkling clean and inviting. The room has very special design as it built from stones, yet all the facilities are new. We couldn't ask more for our last night in Greece (and each night we slept somewhere else).

Elsa was a perfect host. Every morning, at breakfast, something new - homemade apple cake, on the day we left. (Who does that?!) We loved the roaring fire in the room, and the deep comfortable mattress, and the Gothic silence of the village at night.

Fantastic B&B

Very warm welcome by the host. Complied with all covid regulations incl temperature screening. The B&B is lovely with a nice view of the village. The room is perfect just as pictured. Beautiful exposed walls, hardwood floor and a fireplace in the room. There was no wood for the fire but I'm sure it woud have been provided if we had asked. Maybe they rather have it in the winter and not autumn. The bathroom was nice and the shower warm. The village is very quite and the perfect place to relax. When we visited there was only one tavern open but it had a great outdoor seating area overlooking the village and the mountains. The food served was excellent. Speaking of food we had a wonderful breakfast the next morning served in the basement (probably served in the lovely outside area in the summertime). Everything was fresh and some home made products as well. All in all I can fully recommend this B&B and will certainly be back whenever in the region.

The mattresses were quite firm but we still slept very well on them.
