Beautiful hotel for a great stay in the Zagori region.

We loved this hotel. It is quaint and quiet. The room was nice and there is also a beautiful sitting room downstairs for guests. The breakfast was great. There were homemade baked goods each morning. Delicious! There are a couple of nice restaurants nearby- one is next door. We were able to hike into the gorge from the hotel. Parking was in front of the hotel. The hostess was able to do a load of laundry for us, which was very helpful.

Cute and cozy hotel with good food.

Great hotel located near a beautiful square in the centre of town. Right next door is an amazing restaurant they work with where you can see a beautiful view of the mountains. The buffet like breakfast was very good.

The furniture is a bit outdated, but it adds more to the atmosphere than ugly or upleasant. The room we had was not ideal for tall people. Not many parking spots, but we didn't have trouble parking.

Beautiful location with spectacular views.

Gorgeous views from the large terrace and patio in front of this establishment, authentically traditional interior with warm and comfortable room, accommodating management.

Luggage must be carried physically down and up the stairs. Shower is not suitable for large or heavyset individuals, at the reception it was suggested that inquiring about shower size is advised before booking in Greece as traditional showers can be quite small.

Magical mountain stay!

The hosts were very helpful and friendly. Wonderful breakfast each morning. And the views of the square were absolutely stunning! I wish I could have stayed longer!

Parking can fill up occasionally but it was never a real issue when we had our car

Peaceful stay in a beautiful location.

A peaceful location in a quiet village with beautiful views across the trees towards Vikos Gorge. The next door taverna was very handy for drinks and dinner under the big plane tree in the lovely village square. We were grateful for the printed list of recommended walks and drives which we received on arrival. We liked our split level apartment for its space and privacy.

All in all it was a nice experience.

The location of the hotel was perfect to explore most of the attractions in Zagori. Breakfast was traditional continental, the home-made pies every morning really delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The internet connection was poor, breaking off from time to time.

A Charming Traditional Stay in Vitsa.

We had a wonderful stay at En Chora Vezitsa, a lovely old-style guesthouse full of character and charm. The traditional furniture and decor gave it a truly authentic feel. Our room was very comfortable with an en-suite shower, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was a highlight – a great selection of local delicacies served in a beautiful outdoor area under a magnificent 700-year-old oriental plane tree. It was a magical setting to start the day. Just a short walk up the road, we also enjoyed a fantastic meal at Kanela & Garyfallo – highly recommended! Overall, a peaceful and memorable experience in a stunning village.

We stayed in Loft Room 9. The only drawback was a recurring noise (sounded like a refrigerator or some kind of equipment) that came on every 10 minutes or so and lasted for a couple of minutes. It wasn't particularly loud, but as a light sleeper, I found it a bit intrusive during the night. Otherwise, a lovely stay and would still recommend!

Great, small hotel

The location was great, you can have proper trekking to Vikos Gorge from the hotel or drive to one of the nearby villages and start from there. Plenty of trekking paths in the area. Breakfast was delicious, and the food in the restaurant close by is simply excellent. Rooms are spacious and clean, it was not too hot at the end of July. The owners are very nice and communicative.

Accusations of not paying - we had a receipt from booking.com

Bed was comfortable. Fabulous old building with period features.

When checking in, the older lady asked me several times if I had paid and each time I replied that I had via booking.com and have a receipt. The older lady then called a younger woman who took over the check-in process and she also asked me had I paid, I repeated that I had. Finally she confirmed my payment that was made at time of booking online. When sitting in our car and just about to leave, the older woman came out onto the road, approached us and proceeded to question us about payment again and saying we had not. We became irritated by this and repeated we had paid. Maybe this older lady does not understand or should not be managing the business and just stick to organising breakfast. We are not thieves or after freebies - humiliating really. I have also just checked my confirmation from booking.com and I did book the Superior Room but was given a room with two double beds and a fireplace. Did not get the room I paid for.

Beautiful peaceful and nice to talk to likeminded travellers.

Peaceful beautiful place in the mountains. Excellent value for money. Lovely authentic Greek food both for evening meal and breakfast. Interesting walk, challenging but rewarding but not for the unfit as very steep climb back from the gorge. Would highly recommend.

Typical Greek welcome, nice homey feeling

The staff could not have been nicer. We arrived later than the time we expected (and later than what the officially allow as arrival) due to bad rain and windy roads ... they were waiting for us with hot chocolate and welcoming words and understanding. The breakfast was so nice and the feeling was like we were at their home. It was close to the lookout we wanted to go to in the morning OXYA VIEWPOINT so that was perfect for us

Perfect accommodation for a visit in the Zagori.

Comfortable traditional room in one of the historic Zagorite villages, an excellent starting point for visiting the area (the old bridges Kapetan Arkouda, Kokkoro, Kalogeriko, Agoiu Mina, the villages Vitsa, Kipoi, Monodendri, the Vikos gorge, the Stone forest). That was all because of the bad rainy weather, so we will have to come back to visit the stone hamlets of our Vlach relatives (Aromanians).

Perfect place to stay in Zagoria

This is a beautiful older building in a lovely setting. Great hiking opportunites abound nearby. We stayed several days and thoroughly enjoyed the excellent breakfast and the associated restaurant next door. The family who runs it is very kind and Maria was very generous with recommendations on local hikes and sites.

Minor point-we stayed in a nice room at the front- the family room was next door, noisy kids!

Highly recommend!!! The room is big and warm. If you want you can lit the fireside. The shower is good and has very hot water 24/7. Bed is big and soft. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is exellent, includes free parking space.

Like a fairy tale

Vitsa is frozen in time, like in a fairy tale. The hotel is beautiful and the hosts are kind and pleasant. Anna is a great cook and her pies are so delicious. We were lucky enough to try her alevropita (Αλευρόπιτα). We will come again... Many more times, that's for sure.

They prepared us a packed breakfast one of the mornings as we wanted to leave early to go walking before the heat..we appreciated it very much! The little piazza where we had meals was also very sweet.

A professionally well run hotel in a great location.

This is a very good hotel with friendly helpful staff. We appreciated the air conditioning as it was very hot during our stay. The village square with beautiful old shady oak tree opposite the hotel is a cool pleasant place for breakfast or dinner. Breakfast was varied and always fresh with home cooked Greek specialties and the adjoining Greek restaurant was also excellent in the evenings. Vitsas is a great central base for visiting the surrounding area. We loved the old stone bridges, villages, small monasteries and churches (when they are open) and breathtaking gorges, cold river and landscapes.

The view and he magical trees in the courtyard were so relaxing. Outstanding service!

The breakfast is simple and did the the trick, we asked for omelets and scrambled eggs for our hungry boys and they were very happy to make the special order every morning. The homemade cakes and pies were some of the best I have ever tasted!!

Exceptional

I think idilic is the most appropriate word to describe this place. Fantastic location, the architecture of the building is picture perfect, in ottoman style. Spacious room, very clean and quiet and I loved the smell inside. I also noticed the shampoo and the shower gel which smelled amazing (the brand was Olive Era). The breakfest was very good, many options to choose from and I liked that there were homemade products. For lunch and dinner there is also a restaurnat there that belongs to the family and the food and wine are really great. I also need to mention the 600 years old tree in front of the building which make the scenery a fairytale.

the breakfast start only at 8:30 sometimes people want to go travel earlier and its a bit of problem i think 8:00 to start breakfast is better but the breakfast was great
