Great hotel in the centre of Zagori

Room was spacious, it was located in a good distance from most attractions, the owner was super friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant opposite the hotel is one of the best in all of Zagori - definitely try cooked meals instead of just going for grills.

So beautifully appointed. It came as a surprise! Host Mike kindly opened up the taverna to feed us dinner! A good buffet breakfast with almost everything homemade. And ohhhh a fancy coffee machine!!

Big room, build and decorated with style. Very comfortable, the mattress is one of the best I had in all hotels. The linens and towels were new and best quality. Tasty breakfast with traditional food. Very friendly and helpful hosts. We felt very good there. Location it perfect to travel in Zagoria.

Allow yourself to be very pleasantly surprised in every way

Hotel Machalas is one of those places that absolutely surprises you in every way. Build and decorated in a traditional style yet modernly equipped, clean, with comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast. Surrounded by beautiful stone bridges, it is an excellent base for exploring this part of the Zagori region. Thank you to the very kind hosts for making our short stay as comfortable as possible.

The most beautiful and magical accommodation I have ever been to!

Stay in a dream! A large, well-kept and beautiful garden with lots of seating and magical stone houses. The rooms are in an ancient style with wood and lots of space. The perfect accommodation for families because there is a playground for children and lots of grass and space. The hosts are pleasant and welcoming, giving you a feeling of home. A beautiful village to walk through and in the evening sit in the tavern across the road. The breakfast is wonderful and luxurious. A place that is healing for the soul and opens the heart. The best value for money ever. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed this hotel so much that we stayed another night. The buffet breakfast here is excellent, the rooms are lovely and the owners are very friendly. We would definitely stay here again and recommend here to family and friends.

A perfect place to stay. Built in Vikos style. No concrete. Very comfortable clean and convenient for numerous walks. We loved our stay. The apartment was serviced daily. Breakfast was delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you.

All good. Excellent service despite arriving and finding hotel had changed its name. Hotel locked. Owner soon arrived and we had the hotel to ourselves. They did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Excellent food in restaurant and very nice English speaking staff.

Near Zagori bridges

The property located right at the beginning of the loop trail along the famous bridges of Zagori. Authentic design, perfect cleanliness, comfortable bed, small good equipped kitchen, self controlled fast heating, hot water any time. Great tavern just across the street. Good breakfast. Our deepest gratitude to the owners.

Very beautiful, quiet, spacious, comfortable and clean apartment with jacuzzi. The view from the yard was very nice. Comfortable parking. We enjoyed a lot during our stay.

Generally, comfortable and had a lovely 'small town' vibe.

A very good breakfast, with a variety of things to eat, in a cosy dining room and good service.

The room wasn't warm enough. There was heating which warmed the room for a while and then switched off. It came back on again in the early morning for a couple of hours and then switched off.

Great location in beautiful Kipoi

The location is great, by the road and the minimarket. No steep climbing after a long day's hiking! Taverna opposite. Very quiet. Big rooms. The jacuzzi bath was amazing! A path by the hotel is a lovely leafy walk by the river to two of the most beautiful stone bridges.

Bed and pillows really hard. It's a shame the outside tables and chairs face the hotel, and not the beautiful view! But lovely buildings.

Perfect place to stay for Zagori vacation.

The breakfast was delicious. Almost all products served are local or from the area. The place itself looks and feels very authentic. The rooms were cleaned every day. The owner of the hotel also owns the only tavern in the village and the food there is also delicious. The surroundings are just spectacular.

The entrance to the hotel's parking is a bit challenging for a minibus, but there is plenty of space along the main road.
