Good place for families

The location by the river..close to the rafting company..horse riding and hang bridges..the old couple running the place played with our children and there was a lot of space to play Even the breakfast is nice

The beds weren't comfortable and the outside balcony wasn't inviting - maybe just our room 105 Value for money we payed almost 100 euro per night wasnt justified enough

Treat yourself with this gem

The location is great, as well as the condition of the property. It's a very peaceful place. In keepers were the sweetest, excellent breakfast. We did a short rafting trip with Alpine Zone. Their meeting point is right in front of the property, which was so convenient.

A great place to stay if you're interested in a great breakfast and being near beautiful villages.

The breakfast was great - they made everything that was served including some local dishes. Also it is very close to the stone bridge at Kleidonia which is beautiful and is the start of a long trail.

The style of the hotel was a bit old - you could tell the hotel itself was old but they also styled it in a way that gave it an old look, probably just as a stylistic choice. Also the village Kleidonia isn't as nice as other villages in Zagorochoria.

Delightful!

Quiet, oh so quiet - we slept like babies;). The region itself is the same. While the Greek islands were crowded and baked in 40C temperatures, the mountains of Kleidonia enjoyed temps if 26C, and the roads were empty (we saw more goats on the roads than cars).

It was on the shores of Voidomatis and close to Aristi and Konitsa . Hotel is next to Trekking Hellas wich offers hiking , rafting and adventures . The staff respected a lot the meisures of Covid 19

The towels were not very clean , the matress was bad and there was not any central resting area offered or it was not well organised to serve that cause .

A lovely spot for a visit to the Vikos Gorge

Hotel Faraggi is a quiet old fashioned hotel right in the northern mouth of the Vikos Gorge. As such it is a great base for exploring the area. My bedroom had a balcony looking straight up the gorge and the path up started 200m away. The hosts are an older couple who don't speak a lot of English but still manage to communicate well. Breakfast was determined on the fly with my hostess vigorously encouraging me to eat more - cerials, yoghurt & honey, eggs, cold meats, cake... all with decent coffee or tea.

The bathroom facilities were functional but could do with a refresh.

Set back from the road and only 5m walk from the beautiful bridge and start of the Zagoria trek - it’s the perfect place to start hiking along the river. Cosy rooms, great showers and a delicious breakfast & run by a very friendly family.

The WiFi reception was non-existent in our room. No A/C and no fan available, which during a heatwave is not ideal.

It wasn't best choice

Room needs renovating Wifi didn't work They took my passport, got it back in the morning. I wouldn't like to go to the airport and realise that my passport has been left in the hotel.

Difficult communication. We do not speak Greek, the host does not have any notion of another language.
