Fabulous location, excellent accommodation.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the appartment was fantastic and the location was extraordinary. We looked out on the Porta Borsari directly from our window. I wish we could have stayed here for longer!

Palazzo Negri is the perfect place to stay when exploring Verona. A short ride by bus from the train station. It was such a pleasure to stay in this elegant and stylish converted family Palazzo. Luisa and her daughter are the perfect hosts, supportive, welcoming and full of fantastic recommendations for interesting places to visit and delicious cafes and restaurants to try.

Perfect choice for Verona

It was our second time at Palazzo Negri, and it was perfect again! Our hosts were very kind, communicated frequently and helped with everything. Our room was very clean and well equipped. Heating worked perfectly, even with the cold outside. Everything was super close. Hope to come back again!

If I could give Residenza Palazzo Negri six stars, I absolutely would. My wife and I have now stayed here four times, and honestly, we’re already planning our fifth trip for next year. When you find a gem this perfect, you stop looking anywhere else. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible care and dedication of the host, Louisa. She is an absolute superstar—so detailed, so organized, and so genuinely informative. The entire system they run is flawless, from the moment you make a reservation to the detailed information they provide for getting around the city. The service is simply amazing, and it's the main reason we keep returning. Louisa’s commitment to her guests goes far beyond typical hospitality. Before we even arrive, we have all the local knowledge we need—whether it’s restaurant recommendations that only a local would know, tips for avoiding crowds, or the most efficient way to get from the train station. It makes exploring Verona feel effortless and takes all the stress out of planning. She anticipates every need, and that detailed, personal touch makes us feel genuinely cared for every single time. We love sharing this place so much that we've brought friends with us three out of the four times we've visited! It's not just a beautiful apartment; it’s an experience we want all our favorite people to have. Seeing their faces light up when they realize how perfectly located and well-run the residence is adds another layer of joy to our trip. The location is another massive plus. You can't beat how centric it is—right in the heart of downtown Verona. Everything is within a quick, picturesque walk, from the Arena to the main piazzas. Even though we are right in the thick of the action, the property itself is a serene and beautiful retreat. Authentic stylish place! We felt the spirit of Verona! The room was wonderful, we had all the amenities! The location - excellent! The hostess - wonderful, warm, responsive! In addition - a wonderful terrace with beautiful flowers! We highly recommend!

Charming grandeur in the heart of Verona

A beautifully preserved old palazzo right in the heart of Verona. With original features including beautiful terrazzo flooring, artwork and mouldings, it's full of character - and we had a spacious, comfortable room. Luisa, our host, was very attentive - getting in touch ahead of our trip with clear instructions on how to access the property and ready to give recommendations for Verona and the surrounding area. A very good stay!

Just love the place and definitely recommend it.

The building is just beautiful. The room was spacious, and I particularly love the fresco on the very high ceiling. An undeniable charm of the old building with uneven floor and crooked door frames and very tall windows but beautifully renovated and comfortable. Location was perfect.

The bed pillows could be better. Although the bathroom was large, the shower was a little small for comfort.

Perfect

The property was originally a magnificent residence right in the cental part of this very beautiful ,charming city. The room was gorgeous and spotless with a fabulous view and a small Juliette terrace. The staff was phenomenal. There were stairs going up to the property and they helped me with my luggage. The beds and the linens were so comfy that I slept over 14 hours the first night, (The property I stayed in Bologna right before this one was so noisy I did not sleep for 2 nights). Even though this was on a main street, it was not overly noisy at all. The location is absoulutely unbelievable. Steps away from everything!!!

Fantastic location, clean spacious room, staff were extremely friendly and helpful with great communication before and during our stay. Good water pressure and nice shower. Complimentary bottle of wine was an unexpected plus! A great value, would stay here again.

Palazzo Negri is a delightful place to stay in Verona. The location is very close to the Arena, has numerous excellent restaurants nearby and shopping and other sights. Our host Luisa was very friendly, responsive and helpful offering excellent information and recommendations.

Great location, beautiful building, amazing staff.

It's a superb location and really great value for money. The room has everything you need with amazing views and a lovely balcony. Every member of staff we met were incredibly friendly, giving us tips of places to visit, allowing us to store our luggage for free before we caught our flight. Would highly recommend and will definitely be staying here when we next visit Verona.

Our apartment was spotlessly clean and in a perfect position. Although we didn’t meet Luisa she was in constant contact with me and her instructions to find the property, etc. were excellent. Elisa, her niece and deputy, was extremely helpful and friendly.

We had everything that we could require but it did feel a little utilitarian.

Fabulous apartment in an amazing location - clean and comfortable and right next to the Porta Borsari, making it just perfect for wandering around the old quarter and finding good places to eat and drink. Luisa and Elisa were super-helpful and friendly - we would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is in a great location, very clean, and communication was smooth. The staff were friendly and informative, making the stay even more pleasan, very original and authentic place to stay

The perfect hotel to stay in, for a wonderful time in the beautiful Verona

The room was spectacular and immaculately kept. Our host, Elisa, was attentive and extremely nice and helpful. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. We live in Florence and have travelled all over Italy. Verona and this hotel have been our favourite so far.

Amazing place!

Everything. Location was fab, we thought when we arrived the area was busy but when we got into the room we could hardly hear anything. The room was perla2 and it was stunning, tucked away down a little corridor. The pictures do not do it justice. We really liked the little additional touches, unfortunately we were too tired to drink the free wine that came with the room. There was a landing area at the top of the secure staircase into the building with a huge diffuser making the place smell delicious, and a box with umbrellas to use. Louisa and Elisa were fabulous hosts, checking in with us and available if we needed anything. If we ever return to Verona we will stay here again!

Beautiful, comfortable and excellent location

Our apartment was absolutely fantastic. It is right in the old town. The shops and restaurants are on your door step. Everything was absolutely spotless. It was a pleasure to get back to a cool apartment at the end of the day. The bed was massive and very comfortable. Louisa and her friend living next door were so friendly and welcoming. Worth every penny!!

Amazing

We loved everything about this property, second time I have stayed there. We had a family emergency were a family member ended up in Verona hospital and Luisa who owns the property was so caring and supportive and was a huge help to us through this difficult time we really appreciated everything you did for us Luisa it really meant a lot. Property is so beautiful we absolutely loved ed our rooms, beds so comfortable, great showers, rooms so big and spacious the terrace was amazing. So central, everything was is walking distance would definitely stay here again.

Perfect and charming location - attentive owners always willing to help

The owners, Luisa and Roberto, very extremely attentive and very personable. Always available to answer questions and offer suggestions. Verona itself. The online guide to Verona supplied was also comprehensive and first class. The location is hard to beat, a little secluded but totally accessible. Perfect basically. The availability of the washing machine/laundry was ideal as we were on a long trip. It was a little tricky at first, but we got there in the end.

Not much although the lack of an elevator (can't be done due to the history/age of the building) can be difficult if you have significant luggage as we did.
