A great place to stay in the heart of Italy's most Italian city

The location couldn't be better, it is in the heart of the public square and in the center of the piazza. As we had tickets for the opera, it couldn't have been closer. The room is very nicely appointed and very clean. The host gave me great information for parking our car.

The directions in the booking.com app kept leading me to the heart statue, which isn't the hotel. I didn't know that it wasn't a traditional hotel, which made it harder to find as well. I walked around in circles for half an hour and no one I spoke to was able to help me find it. I also didn't get the message about the passports and code, so I had to download an app on the spot ( I never heard of this app) though it does work. But water under the bridge.

Amazing apartment & location, with room for improvement

First, this property is so stunning! The design, decor, layout, linens, everything is beautifully and tastefully designed. The location is phenomenal! You can basically reach out your window and touch the Arena! We stayed in the Giulietta suite (top floor with the jacuzzi tub). There are only 2 apartments in the building, the Romeo is on the “first” floor and Giulietta on the top floor. It’s very private and feels safe. The spa tub is so fun and a great addition to the apartment. Once you’re in the apartment, it’s amazing and I would love to live there lol. But as a traveler with suitcases it’s tough with the stairs.

There are a LOTS of stairs to climb. To either apartment, it’s a lot of stairs. It’s doable don’t get me wrong (I’m 35 and my mum is 65 and we both managed). With suitcases is another story lol. Veryyyyyy taxing. Super important to know this for elderly people or people with mobility challenges. There is no early check in and no luggage storage. we arrived early on the train and had to pay to store our luggage somewhere else so we didn’t waste our only day in Verona. This would be something for the owners to consider being more accommodating in the future. There’s also no instruction booklet/welcome packet/any information about the apartment in the apartment. You have to ask for the info you need via WhatsApp (eg at 11pm I wanted to use the jacuzzi but couldn’t work it with no instructions). Thankfully they are very quick to respond, but providing this kind of info in the apartment or in an email prior would be great.

Nespresso maker broken and property unwilling to send a technician over the weekend although we were offered a coffee in a coffee shop around 7 minutes away. But its not the same as enjoying waking up to your own coffee in your own space. Smoke alarm went off twice and told that they had turned off the boiler and we didn't have hot water on Saturday night Property could use some better appointments, like end tables in the living room and general updating of the furnishings for the price point of the property.

Verona is a beautiful & fun city ..lots of things to do. We enjoyed it very much.

Great location across the street from amphitheater (beautiful at night!) Steps to fabulous restaurants. Very well equipped. Just FYI we bought concert tickets to Arena di Verona which is a different venue than the amphitheater

Lovely appartment and fantastic location in Old Town Verona

The entire unit was very tastefully designed new and very well kept. Appartment unit comes with a loft and as such, you enjoy high ceiling which is a luxury. It is situated right next to the Arena literally (outside your window) and the Piazza and next to the Shopping district, the location cannot be more central for exploring the city. There was also a cafe Martel for anyone wanting a cafe/breakfast just 1-2min walk next block. Appartment we had was the top floor, single door. As such, there was a lot of privacy despite being so central. The windows were effective in keeping the temperature of the unit as well as screening away the noise. We appreciate the bathtub/jacuzzi (you can get a bath bomb or bubble bath from LUSH located nearby at the piazza). Key is electronic and adds to the convenience. Host was responsive on WhatsApp. In short, very pleasant and romantic way to rejuvenate and refresh. Note there is no lift in this old town appartment. Not suited for anyone with mobility issues. Otherwise, a gem to explore Verona or for couples:-)

A good experience which could have been better.

The space and its location

1. We left England for Verona without information about the door code. We only received this after arriving in Verona, after several requests. This was not a good experience, causing us to have an anxious journey. What would we have done if the code had not arrived? We were entirely dependent on a remote landlord. 2. This was not a budget rental. Therefore we expected some form of housekeeping (fresh towels, a bed linen change, rubbish removal, and the offer of more pillows). However none of this occurred. 3. The cupboard safe (essential in a city stay) could not be operated and the owners were unwilling to help. Consequently we carried our passports etc around with us at all times.

The location was perfect especially for the opera at the arena . So good that instead of queuing for the bathroom at the opera we popped to the apartment! We stayed in Julietta which had the large bath .

Nothing major , would have been good to have two codes for the door as it meant that we had to be together to get in . However we didn’t ask so this may have been possible !

Location was central right next to the Arena di Verona. Light, clean airy. Spacious for 2 pple and sound proofing was excellent- especially when there was a concert in the Arena Oh, beds super comfy & shower was perfect

A superbly located apartment, very clean and freshly renovated.

The location was superb - literally beside the Verona Arena, at the beginning of Piazza Bra. The apartment was newly renovated, stylish and comfortable.

Some of the facilities quite basic - the kitchen is so small, don’t expect to be able to cook. Minimal equipment (eg literally only 2 forks etc supplied). A small washing machine would have been great!

Very well located unattended small appartement... with no services...

The accommodation is like a small one bedroom appartement. It is extremely well located by the arena and the best shopping streets. It is rather spacious and nicely furnished but there is no reception and no services with the property. The access ton the room is through an electronic which did not work through out the stay... requiring to remotely connect to the landlord who would open for us remotely. On departure, as there is no reception, there is no facility to leave the luggage at the property for later collection. The host has been very accommodating though as far as as a late departure was concerned

Il n’est pas assez précisé que l’appartement n’est pas accessible ni en voiture ni en taxi. Le système d’ouverture des porte était en panne. Il a fallu appeler plusieurs fois. Une fois monté les 2 étages ( pas d’ascenseur) , le système ne fonctionnait pas pour la porte. C’est nous même qui avons dû aller à la boutique pour chercher des clés physiques. Épuisant ! Pas de gel douche dans la salle de bain. 4 pauvres capsules de café. Pas de thé. Pas de lait. Pas d’édulcorant. Pas d’indications pour trouver le code wifi, pour faire fonctionner la Clim.

Apartment Romeo gebucht, Code zum Öffnen trotz höflicher Anfrage erst kurz vor offizieller Check in Zeit erhalten, da angeblich noch nicht gereinigt. Bei Check in um 15.00 Uhr immer noch nicht gereinigt, war im Zustand des Check Outs der Vorgänger, Bettwäsche zerwühlt und gebraucht, Abfall voll, No-Go. Dies sofort moniert, führte dank Mitarbeiter Vincenzo zu Upgrade auf das zum Glück, aber natürlich zufällig, noch freie Apartment Julia (dies auch das schönere von beiden, leider mit leergeräumten Kaffeekapseln 😉).

Verona è una splendida città e l'anfiteatro posto al suo centro ne avvalora l'unicità.

Abitazione "GIULIETTA". Colazione? Solo il caffè, risulta un po' "scarsa". La posizione è invidiabile. Dalle finestre si "toccano", quasi con mano, le mura dell'anfiteatro.

La manutenzione dell'abitazione: 1) - un'anta del cucinino non chiude bene, struscia a terra, e, pertanto la luce del piccolo vano resta sempre accesa. 2) - l'idromassaggio della Jacuzzi non funziona. Deve essere "resettato".
