Perfect location, comfortable apartments, lovely hostess!

The location at the heart of Pizza Bra with fantastic views. The appartments are in an old nondescript building but inside has been renovated to modern clean but quirky decor, perfect! Gabrielle was helpful and knowledgeable and had some great suggestions for places to visit and eat.

No TV guide and so no access to English news channels apart from American CBS and couldn't find any music channels.

The location is perfect. Just inside the pedestrian area, across the road from the Arena. Close to secure car park and supermarkets. The apartment itself is a good size and well equipped, clean, cool and quiet. Gabriella was a fantastic host. Perfect communication before arrival and took as much time as we wanted to explain the layout of Verona and to give some excellent restaurant recommendations. We will stay here again.

Really lovely, modern apartment in a historic building next to the arena.

Gabriella explained everything so well, and made us feel at home, and gave us many recommendations of sites to see in Verona. It was very clear that she loves her city! The bed was very comfortable, apartment had everything we needed, and more, and the windows were fantastic! They kept out the noise of the street really well! Also really handy to have a washing machine available.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting Verona!

The location was amazing, right in the centre of Verona in front of the arena. The host (Gabriella) was super nice and so very helpful - when I wanted a train ticket printed, she printed it at home and brought it to the apartment for me. She also arranged a taxi to collect me from Bolzano (my next destination) to return to Verona airport for my return flight. The entire process was smooth, professional and friendly. I'd highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Verona. Gabriella was also great with communicating via the Booking.com website, and quick to answer questions and confirm any potential misunderstandings (the booking was made by my EA on my behalf). Would absolutely stay here again the next time I travel to Verona.

Would recommend this apartment as a perfect location for accessing Piazza Bra and the Arena

The apartment was in a fantastic location next to the Arena. The apartment itself was thoughtfully laid out and It was a bonus to have a living room. The apartment was modern with a terrace and air conditioning. Gabriella was so helpful and thorough. She went out of her way to book a taxi for our return to the airport.

A fantastic stay in a great city!

The location was unbelievable! Our host, Gabriella, was so lovely and helpful. The city is stunning and everything is within walking distance. The apartment was in a lovely old building with good modern facilities. Overall we loved staying here!

Very conveniently located, lovely apartment.

Host Gabriella was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The apartment is spacious, over three floors. The outside terrace is huge (but sadly too hot to sit there during the day during our stay, even with the large umbrella - heatwave!). The bathroom etc is large. The location is great, right next to the Arena and bus stops, and just a couple of minutes walk from restaurants, Piazza Bre, Aldi supermarket etc, and about 10 mins walk to sights such as Juliette's House and the Lamberti Tower.

As other reviews have mentioned, there are a lot of steep (original stone) stairs. Not a problem for us, but might be for others. And again as other reviews have mentioned, during the opera season they shift scenery throughout the night until about 5am, storing it around the Arena. I found it very noisy, loud bangs and crashes of metal against metal, even with the shutters closed. But... that's a price to pay for such a great location. It would not be a problem out of opera season - the street is otherwise very quiet.

This apartment is in a location that will astound you. Literally across the street from the Arena, with Piazza Bre just outside your door. Gabriella is a delightful person and she took the time to map out all the highlights for us to see in Verona. The apartment is very comfortable and has a lovely terrace. As a result of this trip, we are very enamored of Verona and would love to stay in Gabriella's apartment again on future visits.

The apartment is in a perfect location, just by the Arena but yet quiet inside. Nice little private area, also that quiet. All was very easy - from booking, finding the place, check-in to check-out. The owner, Gabriella, was very nice and easy to communicate with and fast to return on all our queries (and we had a few).

Stor, moderne og velutstyrt leilighet med helt perfekt beliggenhet - nærmere Arena (Colloseum) kommer du ikke. God seng. Veldig hyggelig velkomst av huseier som guidet oss til ulike severdigheter i byen og kjørte oss til den privat parkeringen (15€ pr døgn er akseptabelt).

Verona immer wieder - diese Unterkunft NEIN danke!

Die Lage war in Fussdistanz hinter der Arena di Verona. Allerdings in einer Einbahnstrasse wo man weder anhalten noch parkieren darf.

Obwohl ich eine knappe Stunde vorher anrief um die angegebene Zeit zu bestätigen, war niemand zugegen. Wir mussten das Auto verkehrsbehindern abstellen, nochmals anrufen und als die Gastgeberin (GB) kam ebenfalls verboten vor der Stadtverwaltung abstellen, was auch moniert wurde. Trotzdem wollte die GB dann zuerst die Touristensteuer und Garagenkosten einziehen, bevor wir das Auto in ihre private Garage stellen durften, welche auch nicht gleich um die Ecke war und für grössere Auto sehr sehr eng! Ausstellen wollte sie uns dann keine Quittung für die Garage - meinte sie könne mir über den Betrag eine Quittung für verspätete Abreise ausstellen, obwohl das nicht stimmte. Gibt zu denken. Erst als wir das nicht akzeptierten, kam diese 2 Tage später. Sie wollte auch so schnell wie möglich wieder gehen. Wir hatten Studio mit Terrasse gebucht - was wir bekamen war ein dunkles Appartement mit schlechter Matratze (aufklappbares Schrankbett), spartanisch möbliert, Tisch mit 4 Stühlen, der kl. Innenhof war ohne Gartenmöbel, nur kleiner verrosteter runder Tisch mit ebensolchen 2 Stühlen, das war alles - umgeben von hohen Mauern auf allen 4 Seiten, lieblos ohne Pflanze, auf der einen Seite wohnte ihre Mutter, welche ebenfalls Zugang hatte und die Türe ständig offen liess. Von Privatsphäre keine Rede. Kaffeezubehör bestand aus 3 Kapseln Kaffee, kein Teezubehör. Gastfreundschaft sieht anders aus. Diese Unterkunft war wie Tag & Nacht zu all den Unterkünften, welche wir schon in Verona hatten. Das Wohnzimmer war über den Treppenhausbereich auf der anderen Seite und stickig heiss ohne AC mit durchgesessenem Sofa- unbrauchbar. Kein privater Eingang, sondern Eingang im Treppenhaus. Im Portal Booking.com viel aufgeführt was vorhanden sein sollte -ein Bruchteil war da und das in schlechter Qualität. die auf dem Portal publi. Bilder sind zu schön um wahr zu sein. Schimmel in der Dusche. Minimal Putzmittel und eklig schmutziger Schwamm. Verona immer wieder - diese Unterkunft NIE wieder!

De locatie was helemaal top. uitzicht op de arena Apartement is erg groot. 2 verdiepingen. fijne badkamer. alles was goed aan de achterkant een grote patio met gezellig zitje we hebben er genoten van alles in het apartement goede airco's de Gabriella de host was erg vriendelijk. Vertelde ons veel over Verona en super gastvrij. we komen zeker een keer terug💝

Prima verblijf, lekker centraal, mooi uitzicht op de arena.

De lokatie. Airco, was steeds bijna 40 gr. Schoon. Goed bed. Heel aardige eigenaresse.

De temperatuur.......... :) Dan kun je ook echt niet buiten zitten. Het terras achter is wel erg saai tussen lege gebouwen. En inclusief parkeren 15 euro per dag, betaalden wij 1800 euro voor 6 nachten (14 juni), dat vind ik aan de prijs.
