Great value stay close to nature but badly needs renovation

It's a big property with entrance on the main road near Campuhan Ridge but with a very handy access to the rice fields and quiet eateries through the back, excellent for birding opportunities near Ananda Resort and Pulau Kelapa gardens, Friendly staff, 2 great and clean pools. Supermarket closeby

Property is way past its glory days and is in need of serious maintenance and upkeep which is not happening as it's on the market for sale. Mould is a problem. Wifi is unstable.

Love this part of Ubud!the

The pools were awesome! I had a big, spacious room with good facilities and furnishings. Good shower and hot water. Nice staff Excellent part of Ubud, location is amazing Quiet at night time I got a bargain price, food value for money but I would not have wanted to pay full price for it.

The rooms are aged and need a facelift. I got a great price - I would not have been happy to pay more (the full price) but for what I did pay it was great value for money. I can see it would have been amazing when restaurant and spa were operational but honestly it is in the best part of Ubud so everything you need is right there

Very close to Bintang supermarket.

Hotel is very basic (not much privacy in rooms), on facilities very limited (no restaurant and many common areas have fallen into disrepair), the front desk is not staffed at night (felt a bit unsafe as a lone traveller) and the rooms are quite old without historic charm (ripped towels, mouldy sinks, hole in ceiling). 20-30 minute walk into town.

The staff were welcoming and so helpful. Wayan was so helpful, so informative of the attractions and showing us around. Nothing was a problem. Thank you Wayan, you are now a great friend. The rooms were always clean and tidy. I would recommend staying there as the price was right.

The pool outside our door was great but at my age I could not get into or out of it. The Pool down the back had no comfortable lounging chairs plus there needs to be a handrail for older guests to enjoy these pools. I felt that some of the areas needed to be renovated. I also understand that covid has had a big impact on the area.

Disappointing

I like the location, not too far from the centre of Ubud.

The rooms of hotel was empty no other people stays in the hotel put us and 2 other rooms. The hotel was scary silent and not too clean. I think if they take care more it will be very beautiful place.

Great Location and Property, Room in Very Bad Condition

Staff was very friendly, location and surroundings were very nice.

The room was very rough. The bathroom sink was broken off the wall, and dripping onto the floor, where black mold surrounded the puddle. The room was infested by black carpenter ants which were EVERYWHERE. I stayed here 3 years ago and it was a simple, very nice hotel. It is now in very great need of repairs.

Great value for money and prime location.

The rice fields next door make for an excellent view any time of the day. Room cleaning service was excellent and nice that they are trying to encourage sustainability with guests by hanging towels and conscience with water usage.

Facilities are getting a little bit dated and some maintenance might need to be done such as drains slow or not draining, damp damage to walls, hinges very squeaky.

not ready to be open yet - still needs work

the quiet rice fields outside of the big glass doors was very nice the location was perfect for us the pool was nice but lacked landscaping

the shower drain backed up into the bathtub drain the room was dirty! spider webs between the toilet and sink dirty sink stained bedsheets with pen and brown spots was disgusting light switches were strange and some broken WI-FI was terrible!!!!!! burning vegetation smell from around the hotel was overwhelming

Robaki w łóżku, grzyb na suficie w łazience zakryty szmatką, mrowisko w pokoju, czystość ujemna, łazienka jak z epoki kamienia łupanego. Nie polecam nikomu, wygląda zupełnie inaczej niż na zdjęciach - zdjęcia są sprzed 20 lat.

Necesita una puesta a punto en todos los sentidos antes de seguir alojando a gente.

Muy sucio. Edificios medio derruidos. Hotel que no invitaba a quedarse ni para comer. Las fotos no hacen realidad al estado actual. Hiicimos check-in y casi automáticamente hicimos check-out. En recepción no hablaban NADA de inglés/castellano/portugués. Solo idioma local.
