Location was fine

The pool is tiny, the ‘jaccuzi’ is very dated and the whole ‘spa’ area need renovation and there are constant pools of water. Not enough loungers, Tiny changing area, room was fine, food was pleasant despite the clear lack of experience from some waiting staff ‘is a sav blanc white or red wine’. Over all the ‘hotel’ is simply that, a place for people to stay on work and relax. Calling it a spa is a stretch of the imagination. It was fine, nothing more nothing less

Not enough loungers in pool area so couldn’t sit anywhere between swims. Changing room floors were very wet and bit dirty.. could not either being mopped occasionally

Great staff and facilities

The location and facilities at the Belfry are excellent and we love the pool. We stayed for 4 nights while visiting family nearby.

We didn’t appreciate the cleaning staff putting the changed towels in the wardrobe which was full of our personal belongings. Also, only one of four coffee machines were working most days and the coffee was rather watery.

Good but avoid the breakfast.

Staff were friendly and facilities were good.

A fire alarm test on a Saturday morning probably isn’t the best. Breakfast was a mixed bag. Undercooked bacon and sausages aren’t the best and eggs were rubbery but otherwise was fine.

Terrible service. Poor facilities - no robes or slippers provided unless you booked a treatment. Had to go down in my pajamas and socks. Way out of the main Cambridge town so costs a fortune to and fro in a cab

It was disappointing for a four star hotel.

The spacious parking and the fact it was free.

The food wasn’t the best, and the facilities were disappointing to say the least , plus it was very crowded due to it not being big enough. On top of that it was a long drive to the town centre, so I didn’t like the distance. Finally, I didn’t enjoy that there was no evening entertainment ,especially since I had a child with me who easily got bored. Speaking of children, the breakfast and dinner menu options was poor because of the little variety and that there wasn’t a children’s menu at all.

Room cold , they had to put a electric heater but still wasn’t enough because of the size of the room ; they said to put the radiator in the bedroom on max and around o’clock the temperature would kick in , we’ll NEVER DID , and to be honest to have your heating set to 6:00 pm on winter is not on , is absolutely ridiculous, won’t came back !!

we ran out of amenities very quickly, only had one towel, there were only 2 tissues left in the box, ran out of toilet roll and milk and sugar for the tea. It would have been nice for water to be left in the fridge with the option to pay for it if needed.

Too many business functions and parties not catering for a relaxing spa trip.

Good location and plenty of parking

Ordered a Caesar salad and the chef couldn’t get that right and the bar staff weren’t pleased and glared that we had asked for it to be resolved. Got back first day and the room didn’t get cleaned until 4:30 so had to hang around for an hour and a half. Also the shower tiles were coming off the walls and sink partially blocked. So not a place to rush back too.

The room was very cold when we arrived. Check in was very slow, long queue and initially only one receptionist. Disappointed that the “fridge” was not a fridge and covered in dust. The feedback software is rubbish, you ask for pictures but attempts to find the pictures has twice erased the entire content of my feedback

The only thing I will say is I’d like it if the jacuzzi will allow the kids- mine are 9&12 and love a jacuzzi but were told not to go in! Otherwise this place is great x

Night away to visit Cambridge

We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Breakfast was ample in a pleasant setting. Free parking was appreciated. The hotel is 10 minutes from the park and ride into Cambridge.

The bed was a little soft, but everyone has their own preferences. Even with the radiator off, we found the room too warm. The pool was busy Sunday afternoon. It would've been fine later, after the children's swim time, but we had booked Christmas lights at Cambridge's botanic garden.

Nice rooms, nice service in bar & restaurant. Food plentiful, and tasty.

We was charged twice for drinks, which hopefully will be resolved Spa could be cleaner, and a more informative and friendly welcome would have been appreciated from spa team.

It would have been better to get plant milk for coffee on the complimentary tray in the room. Very 300ml bottle of water simply not enough for 1 person too.

Good apart from the uncomfortable bed.

Very clean and good location quiet food good. Staff very helpful. BUT the bed was very very uncomfortable. I reported this to the Head of Housekeeper who apologised. This problem would stop me staying here again. The mattress was Far too hard for myself and my husband.

Staff rude , spa too busy , room cold , little broken heater provided that was way to small to heat anything, dirty and broken pots and cups in the bar , Bfast was ok, no cheese to cold meat option, hotel tired , small gym , no room service even though it was advertised,restaurant and bar menu almost identical

Food was very good.

The swimming pool was smaller than expected and had two lanes of children swimming lessons 1430-1830hrs every afternoon, Also as a spa with the children noise there was was no peace and tranquillity. (SPA).
