Overall, a very comfortable stay with only minor issues to overcome to make it excellent.

The room was very clean and modern. The double bed was very comfortable and I had a great night sleep. Easy location to get too and easy access to Cambridge & surrounding areas. Plenty of parking at the hotel and the spaces are big enough for the modern car. Staff were friendly and welcoming overall. The internet was great, no buffering at all, even whilst watching Netflix on my laptop. Evening meal was well cooked albeit the selection is basic and minimal. However, the location means easy walks to local shops and restaurants if you wish to venture out.

The bottom of the shower door leaks, this leads to the bathroom floor being soaked even if you place the floor matt there. This has happened on previous stays as well so needs looking at, some are missing the seal on the bottom of the shower door. The breakfast isn't great compared to many other hotels that I have stayed in. It obviously gets cooked early and left on the hot plate ready for the self service buffet. This dries out the bacon and sausages plus makes the hash browns soggy. If you are happy with continental or scrambled egg on toast then all good. In summary it feels like a very budget controlled breakfast.

Coloured view by a freezing bathroom

Location, friendly, helpful staff.

The thermostat in the bathroom had got stuck. 14 degrees was way too cold. Receptionist tried her best but it took overnight to get to 22 degrees and the heat seemed to be constantly sucked out of the room. Spoilt the whole thing tbh.

The bed was great. The location for us was perfect. Parking was available and free. Most staff members were helpful and professional.

The bedroom needs a deep clean and some attention to the bathroom facility. Cigerette and bleach burns on the carpet. Bathroom floor tiles need descaling as does the toilet bowl. No facility for clothing storage other than short hanging space, ideal for children's clothes, certainly not a skirt, dress or shirt for adults. A £60 charge was made for a service dog which are no longer allowed in the eaterie for food. 2 small tables, outside of that, were suggested for breakfast. Unless other guests are using them!!! A member of staff needs conflict resolution training alongside better customer service delivery.

The room was for 3 adults and there was clearly not enough room and it could not be described as a family room or even a room with a bed settee. On top of each other and no room to even turn around.

Clean and convenient, friendly staff, reasonable price...

Location is between Cambridge and St. Neots, with easy access to both. There is plenty of free onsite parking in a well lit, clean lot. The people at reception were knowledgeable and friendly, and check-in was efficient and quick. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower had plenty of pressure. It was quite soundproofed. There was ample space to hang clothing. There was a coffee station in the room. There was no refrigerator in the room - but we were allowed to keep our perishable items in the hotel refrigerator. We appreciated this consideration.

Bright Modern Hotel

Bright modern hotel - staff very friendly and polite - breakfast was very good being freshly cooked and never in short supply even at peak times - rooms were clean and airy.

Having a drink in the evening became uncomfortable as young children were allowed to noisily run throughout the lobby and restaurant as well as the corridors. It was like being in a kindergarten!! It is a shame that the manager would not have a word with their parents even after we complained of the noise! Sad because this is an excellent budget hotel.

A great one night stay was had - would recommend!

It was an ideal location for visiting family in the next village. The bedroom was very spacious, clean and quiet and the bed very comfy. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the organised a taxi for us and honoured our late check-out request. The buffet breakfast was hot, fresh with plenty of choice.
