The facilities were great. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The bar and restaurant had great food and drink options. Breakfast had so much variety and loads of room for everyone. Location was spot on. We walked into the city or took the no.30 bus. I would definitely come back and stay again.

Super helpful reception staff, good facilities with access to shared kitchen/lounge. 25 min downhill walk to Holyrood Palace and the Royal Mile. Easy bus access. Full buffet breakfast each morning. Our room looked out over Arthur’s Seat.
Shower probably needed a good refurb and water was always lukewarm.

Good breakfast with vegetarian options, beautiful surroundings.
Bed was a disaster. Far too soft. Windows don't open except for a few centimeters. This means the room barely cools, even when it's cold outside. Noise from multiple sources, including inside the building. People constantly coming and going.
