We stayed at this hostel during our 3 days visit to Berlin, and after reading the reviews, we honestly expected the worst. However, we were pleasantly surprised.
The place was clean, the room was small but comfortable, and the price-to-quality ratio was excellent.
The deposit was returned to us after a slightly old-fashioned check of the room, but we had no issues with it.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
In the bathroom, you could notice the smell of spices from the Indian restaurant downstairs. I can’t say it was disturbing, just something to be aware of

The room we got is really peaceful and quiet facing a garden. The room is bright, clean, airy, with high ceilings. The shower & toilet are good and clean. The staff are excellent. Friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The price is worth every penny. We extended our stay few times. Thank you very much Yana and Elmira for being so kind and generous to us and make us feel at home❤️❤️

High ceilings, clean, with elevator access. WC/shower clean.
It worked fine, but I am not thrilled about the 150 euro deposit policy and would like it definitely more clearly written on the booking page.

It was clean, there was literally nothing else good.
The pillow was practicaly nonexistent, my back still hurts because of the mattress, the room has no soundproof, you actually hear people going to toilet and staff shouting around the hotel in the morning, the toilettries are just a hand soap, you don't even get a glass, because there is nothing else in the room. I had 3 beds, but I could not take a pillow from other bed because there was non. One day I had no hot water, the next day no internet and the third day the radiators didn't work and it was -5 outside.
