Great host! Nice group of people ( all men when I stayed). All very helpful and kind. Place is a one bed apartment converted to a two room dorms . Excellent location. Walking distance to all attractions!
Clean, tidy, comfortable basic accommodation in an apartment block, 3rd floor. Hood value for money.
Great WiFi,good security.
Easy to get to from the bus station, take no7 bus from the bus stop on main road further down from from the front of station...walk striaght past red bus station entrance...bus stop is just there.
Nothing see photos to find it!
If you take bus from bus station you will be on the opposite side of the hostel...if you cross over road at pedestrian crossing walk to bus stops and look behind...see photos !

I recently stayed at Skopje Hostel in Skopje, North Macedonia, and it turned out to be one of the most comfortable and welcoming hostel experiences I’ve had while traveling in the Balkans. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt friendly and relaxed, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home.
The location is one of the hostel’s biggest advantages. It’s within easy walking distance of the city center, making it simple to explore Skopje’s main attractions, restaurants, and nightlife without needing transportation. After long days of sightseeing, it was great to return to a quiet and cozy place.
The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and enough space to store luggage. Even though it’s a hostel, the environment felt organized and calm, which is something I really appreciated. The shared areas were also nice for meeting other travelers and exchanging travel tips.
What really made the stay stand out was the hospitality of the staff. They were extremely helpful, always ready to give recommendations for places to visit, eat, or relax in the city. Their local tips made my time in Skopje even more enjoyable.
Overall, Skopje Hostel offers excellent value for budget travelers. It combines a convenient location, clean facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to enjoy your stay in the city. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Skopje who wants an affordable and friendly place to stay.

The location was right in the center, there is bus station in front of it, and only 5 mins walk to the center.
The host was friendly.
There was 2 big bathroom and toilet which I found clean. The living with some guides that helps.
I arrived late and there were not much light on the street so it was difficult to spot the hostel. It located in an old building I guess so there was no light, it was a bit creepy at first and I had to use my torch to find the way.
When I was sleeping, I think because of the air-condinitioning, it made noise (like a washing machine) every 30 minutes so was very difficult to sleep.
There was no light in the room, there is small light at everybed but mine was broken.
The shower in the bathroom was leaking so the water didn’t run smoothly but went strongly in the leaking part, difficult to use.
