Great place near town centre - quiet and clean with all the comforts needed for a short break

- great location (residential yet close to town centre via the park (Stadtgarten) or main road) - good facilities (home from home) - good sized room - good kitchenette set up (included a nice coffee maker too) - good lighting in the apartment - access to a washing machine and detergent - felt safe and contained - we politely asked for a noon check out and were granted this without question (thank you!)

- We struggled with the onscreen check in and the options were not clear at first so we went round and round in circles - we spent over half an hour with another guest who was also checking in, trying to navigate it - some instructions would be helpful - the room was at sub basement level which meant although there was light from two wide windows, they opened onto the parking area - not a great view, nor good if you have to inhale the fumes from wide open windows; privacy can also be compromised. Would definitely stay here again if we were given a different room - plug sockets were a little hard to access and there were 2 in the bathroom and two just by the sink (?)

A great little apartment, a good location Freiburg. Overall very recommended for a short stay. I stayed for business where I wanted a base for a few days with ability to make some food myself. All in all a very pleasant experience with no downsides and would use this again if I have reason to be in town.

This is me being peculiar about coffee, the existing coffee machine doesn’t do good espresso. It’s n the other side, there are plenty of nice cafe in the ton 😉

Everything went smoothly, and the on-site manager was very helpful. The location is very good, near a delightful park, and about a 10 minutes walk from the city centre.

Peaceful yet central, well-equipped, with reserved parking and exceptional hospitality

We had a wonderful stay at the Boutique Apartments. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the city center, yet incredibly quiet and relaxing. The apartment was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom, and living area. Reserved parking was very convenient, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Special thanks to Ibrahim, whose warm hospitality and effort truly made our stay exceptional. We were very pleased with our stay. We would stay there again if we were to return to Freiburg.

Thé property is in a wonderful location - just across the street from the city park and within a 10 minute walk of the historical city and walking trails in the forest. It is on a quiet residential street It was clean and well furnished.

Our apartment was on a lower level which would not have been our preference. However the windows were large enough that we could let in some natural night.

Great location but avoid basement apartments.

The location is brilliant - next to the gardens and then straight over the bridge to the town

We were in the basement - apartment 9. Avoid this apartment. It is on street level and you can’t have any natural light or open the windows unless you want everyone to see into your apartment. I felt very vulnerable. There were spiders all around the corners of the room and only provided one pillow each which was more like a cousin from a sofa. It was extremely hot in the apartment - no air con. We were provided a floor fan but it only blew the hot air around

Great apartment in a perfect location to explore Freiburg!

Excellent location next to the lovely Stadtgarten (public park) - just 5-10 minutes walk from the heart of the town. Bright and comfortable apartment with very pleasant outlook towards the wooded hill. Shutters on windows and patio door - great for keeping the rooms cooler. Comfortable bed. Coffee machine that took paper pods, with enough to last us all week. A fan was provided - essential during our stay, as there was a bit of a heatwave. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Some items didn’t seem to work (or - if they did - weren’t easy to figure out)…like over-bed lights, electrically operated adjustable bed only worked on one side, etc. Main room lights too bright! (so we just used bedside light - standard lamp didn’t seem to work).

The apartment was not far from the city center, the location was ok. The apartment was ok, it had all we needed. I liked the bathroom, it was nice. The check in was easy.

The kitchen was very uncomfortable, or better said, there was no kitchen but only a corner with 1000 things in 1m2. Very difficult to cook or move and do your stuff in this "kitchen". The apartment was not super clean, the kitchen tools, dishes and glasses and cups were dirty, and on top of this there was a paper in the apartment with instructions and suggesting the guests should clean (sweep or so) the apartment before leaving!!!

Superb

It's a compact but very well equipped flat, I think a longer stay is totally manageable. Bed is huge! We loved it there. During summer you can hear the evening concerts from the nearby park. The sunny balcony has a great view during your breakfast!

The 2 lockboxes are confusing downstairs. (we were not the only ones, another couple did the exact same mistake the next day). Walls may be thin/the group of 4 neighbouring guests might have been a bit loud.

Spacious studio with comfortable bed, clean and modern bathroom (equipped with washing machine), located just a few minutes walk to the Altstadt (although note that it's not that close to a tram line).

Keys were not in the lockbox upon arrival (luckily someone was there in the building and helped get the keys from inside for us and let us in to the apartment). Kitchen area was very small.

it was a basement apartment, with little natural light coming in, this was not indicated clearly in the description. overall everything in the apartment looked a bit cheap (ikea cups with barcode stickers not even removed, clock not functioning) and not too clean/ fresh.

started badly as we got to apartment and the key code was wrong and couldn’t open key box so rang the property management team who said that they would send someone to help us within next 10 minutes, no one arrived and the office would no longer answer the phone. after 40 odd minutes of sitting outside apartment a couple approached the apartments so I got out of car and asked if they could help and it was in fact jasmine who worked at apartments and she was not even aware of our issue but she did get our key which was actually inside the property! also tried numerous times to get in touch with management team over weekend but with no success as other issues including no curtains in apartment and a faulty outside light that went on and off continuously all night, we where also very surprised being a couple that we was provided with two single quilts and very uncomfortable pillows(more like cushion covers with a towel stuffed in them). also to our dismay they then was expecting us to pay for our apartments allotted parking space at 10 euros a night!!

Pretty nothing, we call few times for asking about Key, nobody take the phone and after 40 minutes we talked with someone and we wait there in the front door for the Kay for next 35 minutes has we get inside the bed was not covered and pillows and blankets were on the bed, it was a disaster, the heating was off

The location was perfect for visiting the city

We were told by the owners that the room was soundproofed. This is far from the truth. We heard a constant stream of people talking as they walked past. Many disruptions, especially on a Saturday night. The "kitchenette" was so small that it was unusable. No work space at all. Tatty finish to bathroom. Toilet seat not fitted properly.

Actually met by the cleaner who had just finished cleaning the apartment and so we got into the apartment earlier. The apartment was very clean with good facilities and we particularly liked the washing machine. The apartment is in a very good location just outside the main city centre and right next to a nice park with a duck pond. Parking was available at an extra price of €10 per day directly outside the apartment. Only a 10min walk to the city centre across the park where there was a good choice of restaurants.

We only discovered upon reading the brochure in the room that a "feinstaub" car sticker is needed in order to be able to legitimately drive around the city or even park offroad. This can be obtained on-line before travel but we were not aware of this requirement. It costs €5 and lasts as long as you keep the car and can be obtained from the tourist office. The fine for not having a sticker is €80. However, British visitors need to be aware that a car logbook is a must for getting this sticker so be sure to bring one with you. Would be worth warning British visitors of this requirement at the time of booking?
