This is my fifth time coming to Bali, and this is definitely the best accommodation I’ve stayed at in Ubud so far. Alit Bungalow is perfectly located — right in the center, yet tucked away from the noise. It’s peaceful and quiet, and in the morning you wake up hearing nothing but birds singing. Pure serenity. The accommodation itself is excellent and has everything you could possibly need. There’s also a beautiful pool, and the breakfast is amazing — freshly prepared every morning by the wonderful Kadek. Kadek is truly a superstar — so hardworking and kind. I honestly grew to love him like a member of my own family. The restaurant at the property features live music every evening, with a different band each night — and every single one of them is absolutely fantastic. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. But what makes this place truly special is the staff. They are simply the best. After spending the last 14 days here, I already miss everyone so much and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for everything — from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for every beautiful moment I spent there. They are the best!!! ❤️

Good location.

The location is excellent and the pool was great. We had a fridge and kettle in our room. Nice terrace from room. Hot shower. Kedak was great, very friendly and worked incredibly hard. He single handedly does everything. Unsure who owns the property.

The rooms require some serious maintenance, our room was full of damp and mould, the paint was peeling from the walls. It would benefit from a deep clean and renovation. The breakfast was ok.

this property does not have a front desk, and once the staff are off duty, there is no one available to assist with any issues. One evening, there was no hot water for showering, we contact property manager , but no anyone came to resolve the issue.until next day .Additionally, there was no hairdryer available, and I couldn’t find anyone to ask for one. Overall, this caused quite a bit of inconvenience during my stay.

A very good stay

We loved the place, very silent, very close to the center of ubud. The room is very big and the bathroom too. And the staff is really kind but maybe he would need a little help because he do everything by himself.

Just some thing to know: The wifi doesn’t really work, and the water from the shower is really hot, and difficult to regulate. A little bit of humidity in the room

Nice quiet homestay in the middle of Ubud

The location is great: in the heart of Ubud but tucked away in a tiny quiet ally. The room is simple but big and clean and has PLUGS on each side of the bed (so practical for charging and easy access). The breakfast is also simple but good. The bed was comfortable and it’s so quiet it’s amazing!

We came on time for check in but waited one hour for the room to be ready. The wifi was not really good.

A hidden oasis in the heart of Ubud

I stayed two nights in one of the Double Rooms with Garden View at Alit Bungalow and loved it! The room was spacious, very clean, had a lovely/modern interior and a nice terrace facing the garden and pool. The staff was very friendly/helpful and I absolutely loved the central location. Situated in the heart of Ubut but tucked away in an alley, it was very quiet at night and offered a nice oasis far from the buzzing roads of Ubud. I never ate at the restaurant, but the breakfast was simple and yummy. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and can only recommend this place! 10/10, I would def stay there again!

Great place in the heart of Ubud.

Very nice quiet hotel with a really good clean pool. Desmond was very friendly and helpful.

Our room was really nice although the bathroom didn’t have sealed windows so a couple of lizards got inside. Other than that it was perfect.

Avoid

The location

This place was dirty. Simple as. There were insects everywhere, on the walls, on the bed, all over the floor. The shower was slippy as it had a layer of grime on the base. My feet were black with dirt from walking around in the first 2 minutes barefoot when I got there. The air condition leaked continuously while I was there onto the floor, and it spat water out onto one side of the bed, meaning I had to go moving furniture to stay dry.

The Best Week

We stayed 6 nights here and couldn’t fault a thing. The location is very good being right in the centre of Ubud but still quiet due to it being off the Main Street. The pool was really nice and the rooms were amazing for the price. If I were to stay in Ubud again I would want to stay here! Also Desmon, the staff member at Alit was AMAZING he was so welcoming, made great banana pancakes, and would ask you whether you needed anything all the time. Only things I can comment on was that the WiFi wasn’t the best and an extra bed side table would have been nice but that is not something that hinders the place - I would 100% stay again.

Ubud is quite busy and very touristy but nice. Recommend Warung Biah Biah for excellent very reasonable food.

Lovely grounds, swimming pool, good accommodation with nice balcony and very attentive and pleasant staff. (Kadek who does everything). Restaurant/bar on site with good food and live music.

A great place to stay in Ubud!

These rooms and gardens are beautiful! The staff were amazing, Kadek took great care of me while I was there and his banana pancakes were fire. The pool was lovely, and the location was phenomenal. Right by the action but also surprisingly you couldn't hear the hustle and bustle from the accommodations. Having a restaurant connected was also a really lovely feature, especially on arrival when you're still getting your bearings. I was surprised the overall score for this place wasn't higher. It was very clean and very affordable. The shower was lovely and large with hot water. The size of these rooms as well is just amazing and opening up the doors to the wonderful garden was just lush. Would happily book here again and recommend it to others.

The noise between the accommodations, at least on the ground floor, really carry, so if people are up late you can be woken up by them. The bed is also very firm, reminded me of all the beds I encountered in Italy's Amalfi Coast area last year.

Peaceful garden in the heart of chaotic Ubud

Lovely big unit with large sliding doors looking out onto a nice garden. Right in the heart of Ubud, close to Monkey Park & temples & shops. A peaceful place in the heart of chaos :)) Small fridge.

Didn't use wardrobe or cupboard as were smelly. Needs some maintenance on outside wall as damp is getting through & paint on interior wall is peeling in places.

Budget accommodation in central area

The place was good value for the money. Friendly staff, clean room, central location, nice garden, decent pool.

There was a water bomb outside our room and the noise (day and night) was just not tolerable. Although the room and bathroom were big there was almost no furniture, it made us feel like in prison. If you end up coming here he warned of the indications. It’s on the Main Street but has no directions and there are hundreds of restaurants, villas and shops so the chances of getting lost are 100%. The phone doesn’t answer. We spent 1 hour trying to find it.

La ubicación es muy buena, es céntrica y al lado de un lindo bar donde pasan buena música. Tiene una piscina linda. El personal muy atento y servicial

A las habitaciones y al baño les falta un poco de “amor”, en la decoración y demás. En las fotos se ve algo mejor, me parece que con poco presupuesto se las puede poner más lindas y acogedoras, tuve otras experiencias mucho mejores. El desayuno es un café y un panqueque, súper básico, y sin nada especial. Creo que conviene desayunar en otro lado

Accueil : À peine arrivés, on essayait déjà de nous vendre notre prochaine destination, alors que nous n’avions même pas encore nos chambres et étions encore debout dans le jardin. L’accueil n’a donc pas été très agréable. Dans la chambre, nous avons découvert qu’il y avait une couette, mais sans drap. Nous avons dû aller en demander une housse. chambre était propre, mais vétuste. La porte d’entrée de la chambre était cassée, et le personnel a prétendu que c’était de notre faute, il a dont été désagréable avec nous tout au long du séjour, allant jusqu’à nous renvoyer un message pour dire que la porte était encore cassée, alors que nous n’y étions pour rien. Pas de Wi-Fi dans la chambre : on nous a conseillé d’aller dans le jardin pour capter le réseau. Enfin, pour le petit-déjeuner, nous avons dû manger dans un coin du restaurant, à côté de chaises empilées — pas vraiment une ambiance accueillante.

La habitacion, el baño y la cama realmente son increibles.... muy comoda y en muy buen estado. La parquizacion del hotel y el area de la piscina es muy linda tambien.

La recepcion, limpieza y desayuno estaba todo a cargo de una unica persona que estaba siempre atareado. El desayuno me parecio pesimo, el intercambio via wapps para dudas y consultas fue muy malo tambien. Esta ubicado en pleno centro de UBUD, es ruidoso y tiene un restaurante delante (que es parte del hotel) con musica en vivo hasta la media noche.

L'emplacement pour visiter Ubud est super, l'endroit est super sympa avec un très joli jardin avec une piscine, le petit déj est simple mais bon. La personne qui s'occupe de l'établissement (Kadek) est super gentille et serviable, il s'occupe vraiment que votre séjour se passe bien et peut vous proposer plein de services, je recommanderai ce logement sans hésiter si des amis vont sur Bali.

La habitación es bastante amplia, estas en el centro de Ubud, la piscina esta bien, el desayuno es normal, y Simon es el chico que se encarga de todo, es muy atento y servicial.

Hôtel très bien situé et au calme malgré tout. Piscine que nous n'avons malheureusement pas utilisé en raison de la pluie. Petit complexe (6 bungalows) au milieu d'un très beau jardin. Chaque bungalow a sa petite terrasse.

Humidité dans les chambres (grosses traces sur les murs) et dans la salle de bain. Une seule personne pour s'occuper des petits déjeuners et des chambres. Où est passé le boss ? Petit-déjeuner très moyen et il ne faut pas être pressé car personnel très lent. Abords du complexe non nettoyés. Dommage car ce complexe se dégrade....

Bel emplacement, mais petit déjeuner catastrophe

Les chambres sont grandes, les lits confortables, gros point positif est la localisation, à proximité du centre et des marchés.

Petit déjeuner catastrophique sans goût, omelette sans goût, café inbuvable. Personne à l'acceuil, c'était le serveur du pub à cote qui nous a accueilli. Il y a un pub à côté avec liveband, la musique est top mais ça s'arrête à 22h donc si vous souhaitez dormir tôt vaut mieux éviter, sinon c'est un bel endroit

Une belle trouvaille dans le cœur d'UBUD.

L'emplacement était top, 4 belles chambres semblent actuellement disponibles dans une maison. Kadek est l'homme à tout faire et on peut le dire, il le fait bien! La piscine, pas très grande, mais super sympa après une journée de vadrouille. Le rapport qualité prix était top pour de la pleine saison.

Pas grand chose, peut être le côté spartiate de la salle de bain, et des équipements qui commencent à s'abîmer.
