It was fair.

The bed was comfortable. The room provided access to different tv channels for entertainment.

Room was very cold (think the boiler was down) and wasn’t the cleanest room.

Nice location. not far from the centre. Large walk-in bathroom.

Dump smell when entering the room, assume due to the ground floor. Need a higher table for coffee and tea.

I didn’t enjoy my stay at this premises at all.

The location is very appropriate and close to power and the house is a quiet area.

The most disappointing thing was that the shower wasn’t working properly as in the water to the shower was very little and I didn’t have a proper bath 😩. Secondly, the milk had gone bad and meant that I didn’t had my evening and morning cup of tea ☺️

Parking at the rear is small area. Bathroom shower was very slow and the outlet for water flow was somewhat clogged. Overall bathroom was too tiny.

Like the very comfy bed, view from window, location and quiet.

Shower very low pressure. Remote control for television not working. Could do with fresh paint.

Great value for money though with some minor inconveniences

Friendly staff, close to the city centre, excellent value for ££. Very clean shared bathroom.

Our room didn't have a window and the shared bathroom was on a different floor, which caused a degree of incovenience.

The location

In the living room was located a small kitchen, but we couldn’t wash the dirty dishes and there was not water.

Grateful of a peaceful room and clean, comfortable bed.

The host and hostess were very kind and welcoming.

The communal bathroom needed more attention to detail eg hand towel missing and plug of shower unclean, bin full. I advise, a shelf under the sink of small hand towels with one hanging on the rail. I advice a deep clean of bathroom and access to a spray and wipes for guests to use with a note politely asking guests to leave the bathroom tidy/ clean for others ( like one sees in an aeroplane toilet)

Beds are super comfy, Evelyn, the owner, is incredibly friendly and funny, it has easy parking in the side road and a warm atmosphere in the house.

Accommodation was great but I wasn't impressed with Aberdeen in general.

Perfect! 😊The host was professional, friendly and on hand. Went the extra mile to let me use her phone. Comfortable room, iron, hair dryer, great hot shower with good pressure. Clean. Quiet. Great dining room / kitchen - my guest made to feel welcome. Evelyn you are lovely! ❤️

The room was a bit cold but it's an older building. The wee light was out but it was okay

the property was very tidy and in a great area near the centre.

the only part I wasn’t too happy with was the temperature, the heating seemed like it was on a timer but it never seemed like it was on long enough to fully heat up the room. In all fairness our trip was in December and it was a very cold day/night.

Disappointing as everything else was fine!

Good value for budget, room clean and beds comfortable.

2 soap dispensers in bathroom, both empty! Not ideal at 7am, when we were leaving at 7.30am. So had to leave without showering! Surely this should be checked after every guest stay! Too early to inform host, so just left.

I really enjoyed the homely atmosphere! It felt very local which I prefer over staying in anonymous hotels. The location was nice, with a bus stopping right in front of the house.

Unfortunately I could not use the dining room during my stay. There were things stored in there in place of the sofa plus it was often occupied by the host's son. That left me with having to use my room only which was nice and cosy, but too small to spend the whole time there.

I knew that I had not booked and paid for breakfast but did not realise that breakfasts are not available at all. There did not appear to be any nearby, open cafés or coffee shops either.
