Theatre stay

I was in a disabled suite . The suite was spacious and had lots of grab rails which were really helpful when showering the bathroom so spacious big enough for 4 wheel walker and wheelchair. Very clean . Staff can't do enough for you. Terry, Kurt, and preya so so helpful. The breakfast plenty of choice and fresh and hot. The breakfast staff so helpful I would highly recommend this hotel as it is central for everything from theatre and shops and the symphony Hall and arena . There is everything you need in the apartment I'm looking forward to booking again.

Good place to stay in Birmingham City Centre

Ideal location on Corporation Street as its only a few minutes away from New Street Station. Having a kitchen area in the room was a bonus. The members of staff that we dealt with during our stay were friendly. A good choice of breakfast items which was buffet style.

The mattress was a bit hard but that's maybe down to personal preference.

Beautiful place

There was an air conditioning fan in the room and we didn’t know how to turn it off because there was a control panel in the kitchen, but we randomly found another switch was by the bathroom. It took us ages, pressing all the switches in the place to try and sort it we turned it down the fan, but The fan didn’t quite ever turn off, so there was a little noise which was a bit annoying, but nevertheless, we still had a good sleep

We also really appreciated the complimentary laundry, tea, and coffee — such a considerate touch that made our stay feel extra warm and personal. Would absolutely stay here again!

Unfortunately, we only had room service once during our 6-night stay. Thankfully, the amazing reception team made up for it — they immediately provided us with extra towels and anything else we needed. Truly grateful for their kindness and responsiveness! We believe there is plenty room for improvement 🤍

Breakfast is always good, rooms are always clean and comfortable, the staff are very friendly and helpful, I like the view of the city, having a facility to leave luggage before you have checked in or after you have checked out is extremely useful.

I have stayed many times now and have never seen all the lifts working which was a problem on this occasion as there were lots of guests, I don't think the extractor fans work in the bathrooms, in the adjoined by a door rooms, you can hear the other guests even if they are not being loud. As my partner does not have breakfast we feel we are losing out slightly.

Convenient and modern hotel in the city center

The hotel has unusual architecture. Behind the inconspicuous entrance door is a large empty lobby, and the reception is on the second floor. The location is very central and easily accessible from the main train station. The rooms are modernly equipped. My room was a small apartment, even with a sink, refrigerator, and microwave. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were very clean. Ideal for a longer stay with self-catering due to the kitchenette.

The ventilation in my room was a bit annoying. It was connected to the bathroom and reduced a bit when the light there was off. But it couldn't be turned off completely—even when removing the key card from the presence switch. Perhaps a temporary defect. The breakfast was decent, but not much more.

Lovely breakfast with good selection for continental and traditional English. Complementary coffee, tea and hot chocolate from a coffee machine (not individual sachets!) throughout our stay. Also, good selection of ready meals to purchase and cook in our suite. All rooms are equipped with a kitchen and all the basic utensils.

If I am nitpicking (and it's truly a nitpick) the prices of the ready meals were a bit much... The meals are from a company called My Protein which makes sense why the prices would be a little inflated but still, £6-£8 for one ready meal is a bit over the top. As I said, that is a personal opinion, nitpicking and does not reflect the overall quality of the hotel or our stay.

Fine - paid £135 and expected more for the price

Clean and accessible

Only one towel which had be shared by two people, despite emailing the hotel to ask them to add husbands name to the booking and having a response confirming that this would be added. Could’ve went to reception but decided not to as was on the 7th floor and in a hurry. No breakfast tea teabags at breakfast, only fruit tea

What’s not to like? Would definitely stay again

Rooms spacious and very clean - excellent kitchenette layout and equipped, big shower cubicle. Surprisingly quiet considering in Main Street. On site gym well equipped and maintained and clean. Good breakfast replenished regularly. 24 hour free coffee machine, tea, fresh milk in reception area very welcome as was the complimentary midweek social/happy hour. Great central location
