We loved this apartment and would come back in future. In summary:
- The view is every bit as stunning as the photos and the balcony is huge.
- The swimming pool is great and was very much appreciated on hot afternoons.
- The apartment is simple but very spacious and has absolutely everything you could need for your stay.
- The hosts were lovely and the communication was excellent throughout our stay.
- The entire town is built on a hill so you will have to get used to going up and down stairs. But this apartment's location is perfect. There is a small supermarket, bakery etc. just up the stairs. And the beach promenade is just down the stairs. The old town is 5-10 mins easy walk. You couldn't ask for a better location if you wish to explore.
- The town of Herceg Novi is a true gem. It was far quieter than other places we explored in Montenegro, and it is incredibly beautiful. There are lots of boat trips from the small harbour 15 minutes walk away which are ideal if you want to explore other coastal towns.
There was nothing to dislike. The hot water tank is maybe slightly small but you just need to shower quickly.
