Fabulous location to explore and relax
Once we found the location we were met by someone in the restaurant below who showed us straight to the apt.
Finding the property was a challenge. We arrived at night, the roads were busy and navigating Herceg is tricky - lots of one ways, narrow streets, impatient drivers. Cars aren't allowed on the promenade which is where the property is. I had messaged in advance for parking recommendations but when we parked where suggested we were told by a local we had to move. Once we managed to sort parking the route to the apt was not clear and we ended up getting lost down a dark, deserted footpath. It was all worth it once we found the place but added a good hour onto our journey and a lot of stress! Prepare thoroughly before you go, especially if you're arriving at night.

please read carefully before you will decide to pay a good amount money for this place:
- Check in
I booked two rooms with sea view, and during check-in I was offered one room with a sea view and one room with yard view.
It’s good that I had Bookings messages with this property where we discussed Apartments numbers that I booked. After I showed this conversation I got two rooms with sea view.
- NO PRIVACY AT ALL
We were eating a breakfast in the main apartment (where we got all luggage) and I asked my daughter to bring some stuff from the second apartment. daughter came back and said that there is a cleaning is going on right now in the room. I was like what??? we even didn’t check out yet. I came to apartment and they told me that they thought I did a check out. they moved my both daughters shoes outside the apartment. I asked them to return our shoes. they did it and apologized.
Then we went to walk yo Old City and I told the lady who is responsible for the cleaning that we will leave at 12, and she confirmed that this is checkout time and it’s ok.
when we came back from our walk we noticed that all dirty dishes are cleaned so it means that even I mentioned we will check out at 12 they came to our apartment (before we did a check out) and they cleared all dirty dishes. Really??? we are still there and this is an appropriate that anyone can come in our room WHILE WE ARE STILL THERE!!!
Last thing: at 11:50 I came to my second apartment to verify that we didn’t leave any belongings and the cleaning lady was there again and she said sorry.
Really???
So for this just one night they came to our apartment three times without our permission!!!
I never faced this issue with any other hotel / property.
Feel free to stay in this apartment if you want to be visited by their staff while you are exploring sightseeings around.

Easy to get keys from restaurant below. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Great location, right by beach near centre of town. Bed was confortable. Really big balcony with views of sea.
Ceiling in bedroom was really low, not great for 6ft partner! No aircon in bedroom.

High price, but this is the case mostly for the whole Herceg Novi in the first row (hilly town) of apartments, which I quite don't get since - the sea can be filthy and the beaches are not so great (as in the majority in Boka), where it is windy quite often in mid-day. Free parking space is very difficult to find close to the apartment, so it is difficult to use a rent-a-car.
Breakfast could be included in the price, or at least to have some good discount for the guests.
I will think twice about whether to come again to Herceg Novi with these prices when I see the alternatives for that amount of money.
Music management is not so good. You hear mixed music from the nearest hotel Hedonia. If an agreement with them can't be made it is better to turn it completely off, since after a couple of days it gets on your nerves to hear both music at the same time. And why the music is till the 01h? There are very few people in the restaurant at that time (or no one), and that part of HN isn't attractive and famous for that type of fun, and sleep after 24h should be the top priority. Sometimes you can hear the music from the private apartment between Palma and Hedonia if their guests are wild, and when they use the grill, smoke goes directly into the closest apartment.
In some apartments, the roof of the main terrace can be managed just from the next apartment, since they are shared terraces divided by plants, where if it is sunny (and mostly is) you can't use the full experience of the terrace and the view because of lack of the shade. A shared terrace isn't a good idea therefore each should have its own mechanism for the roof and better separation. However, there is a second solo terrace, but it isn`t big as the first one.
Distribution of furniture in the apartment can be better so that all guests on their sofas can watch tv, and not just one of them. No elevator.

The view is fantastic 😍
Nice beach, you can have an umbrella and a deck chair for free. The water is usually clean. You can also order some food and drinks.
Location is also good: lots of restaurants, beaches, some shops. You can get to the old town in 10-15 minutes.
The room has a new air conditioner. Mattress is comfortable and apartment is big enough.
The owner picked us up from the Dubrovnik airport asking 80 Euros for this.
The cleaning was awful. When we arrived, the room and the bed were not prepared, and we had to wait till it is cleaned. After that, the room can be cleaned only if you ask. But each morning starts with a chambermaid pushing (not knocking) on the door and asking: "What do you need?". That was really confusing.
The door to the bathroom is terrible and has to be repaired.
The fridge was too old and too small, I think it should freeze better.
All shutters should also be renovated. There was a storm one day and unfortunately it was almost impossible to close them completely.

Location is amazing, beach is extremly clean and free beach beds are provided. Sea is also really clean (which is not the case on the nearby beaches). Rooms are spacy, with the best view you could ask for. Food in the restaurant is superb and the staff is extremly nice. Owners are really kind and hospitable. Old town is 10-15 mins away by foot.
Bathroom could use a renovation, but the owner actually mentioned that he plans to do that for the next season. Parking is a huge problem, there is no way to find a really close parking spot due to the infrastructure of the Herceg Novi. City (public) parking is 6 euros per day, there is also free parking behind some old hotel which is really close, but we didn’t know about it before we arrived, so it might be smart to ask the host for instructions beforehand.

Beach Apartment with a nice view, could use a make-over
The best about Palma Apartment Nr. 4 (top floor, big terrace) are the beautiful view from the broad terrace and the closeness to the beach. You also get free access to the beach just in front. Deck chairs and an umbrella are explicitly reserved for you (included in the price).
The Apartment is getting on in years but was comfortable and spacious for two people. The bed was comfy. Daily room service (new towels if you need) is included in the price. The owner (usually lives in Germany) and his Montenegrin aunt who run the place as well as the Restaurant Copas (awesome food for a good price) and the beach are very friendly. Internet speed is ok if you don’t plan to stream videos.
Although we expected noisy nights due to the closeness to the beach (closed during nights), the Obala and several bars/restaurants nearby, it was really quiet and the music is turned down by 10 pm.
The place needs some refurbishment and is getting on in years, eg. kitchen, kitchen cabinets, fridge and the sun blinds. The fridge is so small we could barely fit in stuff for breakfast and a few drinks.
The bathroom (very small but ok) has a drain in the floor which emits a foul sewage smell throughout the Apartment. We covered it with a towel and then it was ok but this needs to be fixed! Next to the terrace is the ventilation shaft from the kitchen underneath. Most times it’s off or ok but sometimes the kitchen smell can be strong.
