Simply an incredible place in an unforgettable mountain setting, with cows grazing nearby. You can start hikes directly from the hotel, with several mountain refuges nearby. We also appreciated the free use of local buses, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The food was excellent, and the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive. After a day of hiking, the many different saunas and the pool were perfect for relaxing. A truly special place and an amazing experience.

The only real downside was the drive to the hotel. The road is long, narrow, and winding, with some gravel sections, and sharing it with full-size local buses made the journey quite an adventure. That said, the spectacular location made it more than worthwhile.

Das Buffet war immer mit üppiger Auswahl in bester Qualität angerichtet. Die servierten Gerichte zum Abendessen waren nicht nur geschmacklich hervorragend, sondern glichen auch optisch kleinen Kunstwerken, (fast zu Schade zum aufessen) Ein außergewöhnlich sauberer und schöner Spabereich mit großer Saunalandschaft mit 55Grad, 70Gard, 90Grad und Dampfsauna, die Nutzung eines Hallenbades und BUS-Tickets nach Toblach und dem Pragser-Wildsee sind im Zimmerpreis ohne Extrazahlung inkludiert.

Anfahrweg ist recht abenteuerlich mit Gegenverkehr auf schmaler Straße mit steilen Abgrund. Teilweise Schotterpiste. Die Nutzung der Busverbindungen ist ebenfalls recht abenteuerlich und ersetzt einen Besuch einer Achterbahn im Europapark. (Man ist froh, der der BUS unten und das Frühstück noch drin ist) Eigentlich ist die Geschwindigkeit am Berg auf 30kmh begrenzt aber die tägliche Routine der Busfahrer führt offenbar zu einem veränderten Sicherheitsgefühl, welches die Ausreizung der physikalischen Möglichkeiten der Reifen hervorruft.

The location of the hotel is the biggest advantage as the hotel is based at the start of several trails, offering amazing views on surrounding mountains. The hotel also has a nice indoor pool and saunas, allowing guests to relax after a long day spent on hiking. Finally meals (in our case breakfasts and dinners) were very tasty, with 3 options to select from.

The room was very small and didn't have proper ventilation, causing the temperature to go up very quickly in the morning. Also, the better directions or instructions on how to get to the hotel would be nice as at first, we were not sure if we are even allowed to cross the electrical barrier of the trail to drive to the hotel 🫤
