Super stay in the heart of Dolomites

Absolutely amazing stay! The room was spotless. Breakfast was super good and the owners were friendly. Limited free parking places just next to a house, but you can find more some walking away. Small supermarket cross the street. Location convenient when visiting Domomites! Highly recommended!

Has everything you need when exploring the dolomites

We had a perfect stay! Traditional family run hotel and restaurant with modern, spotless rooms. The breakfast was great with eggs and coffees brought to the table. Complimentary bus passes made exploring the local walks and lakes so easy. We were even given a breakfast to take with us since we were leaving very early on our last day! A must stay if visiting Lake Braies and Tre Cime

Excellent location to check out Lago di Braies

The Gasthof was just renovated so while it looks charming and traditional, the rooms are super modern and the interior design - especially the bathrooms - are very tastefully designed. This is also the reason why we booked the Gasthof. Breakfast was included and small but enough choice. The staff at the breakfast is very accommodating and service oriented. We were there to check out Lago di Braies and this Gasthof is an excellent location.

A big step above the rest.

We loved the apparently now since 2 year fully refurbished rooms with soundproof doors, a great bathroom and completely fresh curtains, furniture and everything. That gives a really nice and a clean feel to the place and we slept like two happy rocks. The bathroom was spotless. Even something the showerhead on the ceiling was so shiny it looked like it was fitted yesterday. Nice and powerful hot shower too. The hotel itself still has the nice classic charm to it from the outside and also downstairs it fits the scenery well; so that was really nice to have a lovely artisanal breakfast in the morning with fresh silky cappuccino and eggs cooked to order by a lovely lady. All and all we were very impressed and the owners chose to invest in the rooms for the coming decade and it puts it a step above the rest. A nice gentleman took note of our late arrival and was accommodating to us. Very pleased!

Great stay and a lovely location!

I booked two rooms, a single and a double. I was upgraded to two double rooms at no additional cost. I liked the alpine decor. The staff was friendly and gave me advice about sightseeing. The food was great! I ate dinner at the restaurant both nights.

Since the hotel is also a restaurant, parking may be full if you arrive during dinner.

The family and staff that runs the accomodation was friendly and helpful. The location is a couple of minutes (by car) to Lake Braies. A good amount of parking spots are available at the location free of charge. Good breakfast.

Because there is a kitchen under in some rooms you can feel a strong cooking smell (at dinner time).

This place was so beautiful. I honestly could not recommend it more. I wish we could have stayed longer. The owner was so kind and welcoming. The area was BEAUTIFUL! Tranquil, peaceful, surrounded by mountains but close to everything. I was in awe. The dinner was amazing, breakfast was amazing.

Very comfy, cozy rooms. Dinner in restaurant was amazing - traditional Tyrolian dishes and nice local wine and Weiss beer :) Best schnitzel we ever try, higly recommend (even better than Vienna's famous Figlmuller). The atmosphere of the stay was wonderful, thanks to the hosts for the warm welcome, we really enjoyed our stay here.

First impression was average - room on the small side and in need of an update. But acceptable as it was a one night stay. However, the evening meal in the restaurant was superb and the breakfast service as well. The staff were all attentive and helpful. We will happily stay here again if ever back in the area.

Great staff. Full restaurant below. Massive breakfast spread that included meats, breads, and cheese plus the cappuccino and eggs made just for you. It’s near a babbling stream I could hear from my window that made the stay super peaceful and restful.

Perfect to visit Lake of Braies

Close to Lake of Braies (5min by car), very friendly personal, good breakfast, in middle of nature, in-house restaurant and bar, nice view from room´s terrace (lake, hills, mountains,...)

in general we were satisfied, some suggestions for improvement: - adjust room layout/furniture to enable more space for keeping the suitcase open during stay - provide bootle of water in the room

Very nice place, so cozy and traditional. The hotel is close to Braies Lake, set in an amazing valley. Outside the hotel you can enjoy a really breathtaking Dolomites' view. The staff is so lovely and available.

Great, quiet location for visiting Lago Di Braies. There is walking trail nearby if you want to go on foot. 5 minutes by car. Grocery store in walking distance. Comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi, very nice and friendly staff. Very tasty breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. We would stay there again.
