The property was clean , close to the train station.Linda and Chris both were lovely people , making sure that we are alright, breakfast was lovely, maintaining good hygiene during preparing food and serving.They both were generous to recommend how to get the buses, timetable etc. Toilets , showers , bed, room were neat and clean . Me and my daughter had a lovely time .

Linda and Chris are amazing hosts. Lovely breakfasts that really set you up for a day exploring the Lake District. I was in the single ensuite room at the top of the house. The room and ensuite is compact but very clean, well organized, and with a very comfortable double bed. The location is convient for local shops, cafes and a short walk to Windermere Railway Station/Bus Interchange for easy access to the rest of the Lake District. Overall an excellent base for a week of walks and sightseeing. Thank you, Linda and Chris for a lovely week.

Be aware that the room IS compact and at the top of the house - but the pricing is very competitive. So I'd still recommend it if you're a solo visitor who doesn't mind stairs and is looking for an excellent base for exploring the marvellous Lake District....oh and did I mention the breakfasts are excellent? (!)

Fantastic location - close to Windermere station and location pick up for tours. Linda and Chris are exceptional hosts - so warm, friendly and knowledgeable - every day started with a smile and lovely conversation. They were also super helpful with luggage storage on the last day. The room was charming and they provided beautiful breakfasts every day - set me up perfectly for all the sightseeing! Thanks so much to them both - I'll definitely be returning!
