A piece of heaven in a peaceful spot!

The pre arrival information and directions shared with photos plus the warm welcome, made checking in a breeze! The position of Aintree Cottage is fantastic as one feels one is living on a farm, but it's only a few minutes drive to the Laguna Shopping Mall and Langebaan. One feels so 'in tune' with nature, welcoming the peace and quiet of country living, especially at night. The birdlife is prolific and daily visits from Bella the pet sheep made our stay so enjoyable!. Lovely safe walking area around Longacres Estate. Spoilt for choice and the owner showed us her other two cottages which are stunning! I'll definitely be booking again and my next stay with be in Bella Cottage, followed my Maya when it is advertised!

We had a wonderful stay at Aintree Farm Cottage and definitely would like to return.

It was self-catering and the location was more centralized and we could easily reach places like the beaches and shopping malls, Saldanha Bay and Vredenburg. It was a calm and peaceful place and brought back memories of our youth on a farm. Greeted by a lamb and geese was the cherry on top. The sound effects of the parrot next door to us were phenomenal. Even in the early morning you can hear different bird sounds. The sunrise was spectacular with the mist hanging at dawn.

They could have installed a mosquito repellent. Provided a car port. The bathroom lock was faulty. The basin water in the bathroom couldn't drain properly. Cupboards can be added to the rooms.

Thank you Chantel for going the extra mile to accommodate our requests. Loved the clear night sky and Bella, love her and her personality. We will be back very soon....our new favourite cottage to stay at.

Nice proporty but it does need some better upkeep and housekeeping.

The location of the property was good, located close to shops and the casino.

The dishwasher did not work as advertised, the door handle broke off on the second day and nobody has dusted the top of the portraits and mirrors of the property in weeks. We also found the contents of Christmas crackers under the bed and behind the couch pillows, assuming these are from the previous tenants. House cleaning also changed the bedding and towels in one room, without us giving them consent to access the property. The drains in the bathroom sink and bath did not drain, and the shower drained very slowly.

The location is absolutely serene and perfect for time to recharge away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. My children adored the sheep on the property, a very friendly, pet-like animal. Would love to revisit this cottage.

Location good - enjoyed being out of the crowd. I enjoyed the friendly sheep!! My husband enjoyed the dishwasher!!

The braai chimney is very open to the rain so not good for braaing in wet weather despite the undercover part. Need a poker or some sort of tool for the fire - sticks very hard to come by in that veld!

I liked the Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher.

There was a smart tv but no DSTV. The water in the bathroom basin took forever to drain. There are no cupboards or closet in the bedrooms so no packing space for your clothes. We basically had to work from our suitcases. The front door is a clear glass door so anybody can see right in. The space is a bit small and only 1 bathroom for 6 people.

Beautifully decorated, clean, quiet with its very own Bella the sheep to keep you company. Loved the farm setting. Fabulous place. Bella however is a picky eater - and only wants crunchy chips - and not the spicy kind either :)

What could have been great and would have come back if only....

Close enough to town, quiet and peaceful. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the animals and freedom of walking around. Owners helpful to attend to issues that when mentioned.

Not as pretty as the pictures unfortunately... Dirty- had to remove someone /people's hair from bathroom sink as water would not run out... I/ we all did not sleep first night (nephew's allergies were insane) and we were itching (I had to wash again at 1am)- not sure if bedding dusty/ bed bugs...looked under beds and furniture this morning when packing - super thick dust and dirt. Have stayed at three feathers last year same time just down road with nephew so not environmental. Not as advertised: no coffee machine, no toiletries (not even handsoap) Television not working and they new before we came. Netflix only connected next day. Pool empty and dirty No milk? Never before have I stayed at any place and milk not provided? 6 spoons of ricoffee for weekend (luckily I brought my own coffee and milk) I did not take pictures or complain as I did not want to create negativity around experience for family. Just made the most of it.

Perfect relaxed getaway for family.

The cottage was extremely clean and well organized. Had everything you could possibly need. Lovely, quiet, peaceful and serene atmosphere if you wanting to be on your own with your family and away from the city buzz and noise. Super safe and the little animals on the property added an extra touch. The host was readily available and so kind towards us. We went for lovely early morning walks and evening runs in the area. Couldn't have asked for a better getaway to accommodate both my elderly parents as well as my little one. Little bit of something to keep everyone content and happy.

An extra fan would have been nice as it was quite hot the weekend we were there.

Loved the peacefulness and animals welcoming us. The dishwasher was a masive bonus. Also, all the shops being 2mins away was great.

The tiles on the shower floor is not for that purpose, they are sooooo slippery and not safe at all.

Based on an estate of small holdings, the unit is surrounded by other farms with horses and wild birds and bokkies but you are only 6 minutes from a nice shopping centre with a Pnp, Checkers & Woolies. Bring doom for mosquitos and flies.

No emergency lamp for the power outages (that i could find). Road in estate not too great

I loved the location, and it was the perfect start to my South African holiday. It is close to the beach and our favorite restaurant, Marc's Beach Bar! The cottage also had all the kitchen utensils and a braai place for my husband!

Relaxing and home away from home in nature backyard🤩

Loved the fact that the location was away from the hustle and bustle of the actual town. Beautiful gem of a place. Our host and hostess were super friendly and very helpful when we needed things. Loved everything about this place. Hope to see some trees for shade and relaxation when we next visit🤩 with a hammock or two🤔😉😁
