Comfortable stay at an old fashioned but cute apartment. Close to everything we needed for the purpose of our trip - a few mins walk to the promenade/beach. Good value for money for Nice. In terms of amenities - Towels soap and toilet paper provided but thats it. And there is a nespresso machine, but no coffee/tea/sugar - so we bought coffeee pods from a Carreforre. We did not cook at the apartment but the kitchen was modern enough but no oil/salt/pepper so you would have to buy everything and then leave what you didn't use. Two sofas and a TV but we didnt turn it on. In terms of staff they were very responsive - I asked the managers to make up 2x twin beds as we were 2x friends travelling together not a couple, however, when we arrived it was made into only 1 bed - but I messaged then and they were very responsive and came a few hours later with extra bedding and made up 2 beds for us.

You have to collect your key from another location about 7-8mins walk away, which can be annoying if you have a heavy bag. It was hard to find the apartment, you have to go through the door next to the lift out into a courtyard, and then the apartment is across the courtyard. Checkout time was to return the key to the other location before 10:30am, so leaving around 10:15am which was a bit early for me (we had been out the night before and would have preferred 11am checkout which is more common).

The breakfast question does not apply in my case nor the one about hosts...Perfect location. Quaint little house. Kitchen relatively well equipped. The tv worked easily. Air conditioning working well. At first there was a problem with one of the fans but someone came to rectify it next morning. I got a very prompt response when I had mentioned the night of my arrival that there were a few problems. Someone rang me the next morning and came almost immediately.

I would have liked to have information on how to work the air conditioning. It was easy but not being used to it and having never seen such appliance, at first I did not know what the remote control was for, until I was told the next day. No microwave oven. Bedside table lamps not giving enough light and therefore useless to read in bed. (I had to bring one from downstairs). Mattresses would be a bit too thin for a big person. One key lock was too high to be reached easily and the key would not turn properly, so I could not open the door until, by chance, I got help from a man living in the main building. I called the telephone number given in case of such a problem arising but was called back (with apologies) only at 11pm... More than one toilet roll should be provided, even for a short stay. (In my case 7 nights) I had to buy a full pack (which obviously I left in the house) It should be mentioned that the staircase has no rail, which can be a problem for some people. If one wanted to sit outside, impossible to get the table out and no comfortable garden seat.
