Had an incredible stay! Just a heads-up — you’ll need a strong man to help carry your belongings up to your room.

Lovely old building, clean and bright. Perfect city location yet quiet. Nice clean room with a big bed and nice decor. The shower was great.

Nothing not to like. The stairs down to room 2 might be a problem for some people with mobility issues or heavy cases.

Excellent value for money. Close to shops and restaurants.

The apartment is walking distance to shopping centres, Dean’s path, Victoria street, and of course the Castle! The Staff and Manager is amazing. Gave us room upgrades and let us leave our baggages before and after our stay there. Very considerate. Only thing is not wheel chair accessible. Only stairs. Check this with them before booking. Otherwise, will come back to stay here for sure.

Not much really. Cannot fault the room they gave us. Clean complete with a Nespresso machine.

The location was excellent.

We were broken into at night and had cash stolen. The staff were unhelpful dismissive and accusatory.

Perfectly adequate

The location is great. Very central and parking is only a 10 min walk from the apartments. Very easy to find too. And the check in was very easy. For the location it was pretty quiet too. The noise stops around 10/10:30pm.

The beds were a little hard and so were the pillows but that was simply down to our own preference.

Definitely coming back!

The position was excellent, next to bus and tram stops and in an area full of restaurants and bars. Our room was on the third floor, there is no lift but it was very clear on the Booking page so we had no surprises. The receptionist was very kind and asked if we needed any help with our luggage. The room was very clean, the bathroom wasn't very big but it was very tidy, with big towels and free toiletries. Every person of the staff was very nice and kind, so we had a great stay. I've been to Edinburgh a lot of times and I never found a room here, now I know why!

I had a garden room and the space was lovely. Very comfortable room. The heated floor in the bathroom was a nice surprise. I was contacted when my room was ready for check-in as it was a bit earlier than expected. The location was perfect for my needs and I would definitely stay again. I also really liked the provision of ground coffee and cafetiere (my preferred coffee choice) in addition to a pod machine and ground coffee options.

Loved the apartment everything we needed cosy, location and quiet. Very luxurious

The pillows I would give the options of my supportive pillows as downs pillows too soft and effected our necks and backs woke up very sore. The window I would look at wind seals as when the wind got higher the windows were banging at night so no sleep our last night.

Great location apartment, comfortable, clean and spacious

This property exceeded our expectations, a great value for money. The apartment was spacious, clean, and fit all three of us to have our own room/bed (one was in the living room on the pullout couch). It was so easy to check in, the staff was helpful and let us leave our bags early, the location was unbeatable in the middle of town, the list goes on. In every way exceeded expectations.

The pull out couch turned out to be kind of crooked and uncomfortable.

Was well worth it!

The room was nice and clean.. the manager was really friendly and he also let us check out at 11am which I thought was very good of him! It was a bit noisey from near by bars which is understandable… all amenities was close by too over all it was good.. I would stay again but maybe not in the basement apartment.. 😊

Location was great, just off of Princes street with easy walk or bus anywhere you want to go in Edinburgh. Room was comfortable. Tea supplies

Disappointing for the cost, not what we thought we were booking

Location was great

Was a bit deceptive as booked a two bedroom apartment with twin share in one of the rooms. The apartment we got was two double rooms and sofa bed in lounge room. The second bedroom was basically a cupboard in the lounge room. Very cramped, no privacy.

A must stay if in Edinburgh.

On arrival, we were treated with a warm welcome and total professionalism. The staff couldn't have been any nicer and just left you alone didn't pester you but they were there to help if you needed them.

I can't think of anything it was a great place to stay.

Definitely would recommend for the location!

The location is exceptionally good; just steps away from Princes St., the park, and Georges St. And it is very nice when you're with friends to be able to sit together and chat, play cards, or make breakfast.

The apartment had a very small bathroom, but it wasn't seriously negative, not to mention that a 1700's townhouse wouldn't have had a bathroom in the original design. It was no bother to me, but be aware that if your bedroom is in the front, it is a busy street near Rose St. so you may hear (usually for a short time) people talking and laughing down there late at night.

We loved our stay at Edinburgh Castle Apartments! Great location, clean, and quiet.

All of the Edinburgh highlights that we wanted to see were within walking distance of this location, yet it was just far enough off the main roads to be quiet and bring relief from the crowds. Room was clean and pretty. Staff was very helpful. We were able to drop off our luggage before check in and walk around the city.

This is not a complaint, but other people booking this location should know that there is not a front desk staffed 24/7. There is an emergency or after hours number if you need it. Also, there are steep steps to the rooms. Again, not an issue, but people should be aware of this when booking.
